"Rooms were clean and we got upgraded to a suite for not a lot more money. We ate at the Down One Bourbon Bar, and they were very short-staffed so we waited a long time for a server to help us, but once we were waited on the food and drinks were good."

"In an old building with a very steep staircase on top of retail shops . Living room couch is stained and has springs poppping through seats . Tears in blanket in bedroom off living areas . Air filter in ceiling near bathroom looks like it hasn’t been changed in years with all the dust. Never stayed in property like this location . Its next door to a Mexican restaurant luckily no one was at restaraunt but its an area with businesses and this location your mainly only residential place so kind of odd. In town for Kentucky derby basically slept & showered there. Rates were very high for quality of place and location ."

"My wife and I had the perfect return to the Highlands in Louisville after a ten-year hiatus from when we lived there. Recently, we found ourselves relocating across the country with two little ones in tow, and we needed a few nights to stop over, coincidentally during Derby week, no less.This location was wonderful for what we needed and wanted. The interior was cozy, spacious, yet manageable. Great walkability with immediate access to amazing restaurants, bars, and parks - all immersed within the historic beauty of the Highland’s.While you’re right on a busy intersection of Grinstead, the noise was never an issue for us - even with two kiddos in need of a good night’s rest. In fact, this location places you at the core of the neighborhood, as if you are a resident yourself."

"Location was excellent. Lots of very comfortable beds better than I’ve had in any other unit. Hosts were very responsive to any issues that came up!"

"Room was really clean and cool. Can tell the property is new and there’s nothing wrong with that. Great TV with remote. Nice little balcony area. The music for the bar is loud and runs late but if you’re used to that then you’ll be fine. No mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Those are my only complaints. And it would be cool to have ice available at all times. "
