Staff was lovely. So quiet! We walked to dinner and though it felt perfectly safe they sent a security guard along with us who then returned for our walk home. They even sent us with packed breakfasts before our early flight (which we didn’t even ask for!) Breakfast was lovely the day we were able to eat there too.

This is an incredibly charming hotel. Each room is creatively and uniquely decorated. The staff treated us like family, calling us by our first names each time they saw us. Breakfast is wonderful, as is the customer service. There was not a single thing that wasn't first rate. I highly recommend the Hotel La Basílica, and if we ever return to Quito, this will be where we stay. Special shout-out to Media, Josalie and Byron.

"This is an spectacular hotel. Top class. Do not think about staying anywhere else. You feel like you are saying in a 5 Diamond Hotel. All new, rooms are amazing, service is top. Breakfast buffet pretty much the same everyday, but none the less excellent. Great location."
