The nearest bigger town of Huelgoat with a wide range of facilities is a pleasant rural drive of 8.8 km. "We stayed a total of 15 minutes out of a 2-month booking because the apartment we were issued was not the same one from the photos. The listing does not explain that the photos come from a model. Ours was a downgraded apartment that had several incomplete renovations, broken window glass, and worn and damaged furniture. The listing also does not give a street name, so the precise location cannot be searched before booking. We received the address and check-in information only two hours before we arrived instead of a week. We were disappointed and also afraid when we arrived because the apartment complex did not feel safe. My husband refused to allow us to stay there because I would often be home alone. The positives, both VRBO and the owner did respond right away when we contacted them about the apartment. Unfortunately, neither party helped rectify the situation. I am writing an honest review because I don't want other travelers to experience the same loss (of a lot of money) that we did. The listing should really be updated to be more accurate. "

"We already have a static in France, but my husband wanted somewhere with a private pool that was also dog friendly. This fitted the bill completely. It was for my birthday, so it was a lovely treat. We just relaxed, had bbq's, swam in the pool, the weather was gorgeous so the pool was a steady 25most days. Just a shame it wasnt ready when we arrived. Hadnt been cleaned or the heating turned on. Soon sorted once we phoned someone who came out the following day. But all together we had a lovely stay and anything you could possibly need was there, from garden games, bikes, to Books, DVD''s, etc."
