This is such a unique property in an old mill/factory building. Beautiful grounds and property to explore. The owner and staff are fantastic as well as the food. This is our second stay there and would definitely stay again.

Overall it my stay at Piana dei Mulini worked out well for me. The price was good and it was close to what I wanted to visit. The restaurant has nice food, a little pricey but not out of line. My only real complaint was the shower it is very small.

Abbiamo soggiornato con tutta la famiglia, appena arrivati abbiamo apprezzato il posto; a parte i lavori di edilizia in corso. Però ci siamo trovati bene, accoglienza eccellente, la signora che ci ha accolto e servito la colazione moto sorridente, cordiale e professionale. Peccato non aver potuto degustare la cucina del loro ristorante in quanto era chiuso per ferie. Il giorno della nostra partenza abbiamo conosciuto il proprietario Michele che ci ha fatto scoprire la propria cantina con prodotti tipici prodotti e curati dallo stesso, complimenti. Lo consiglio a tutti, noi ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Great service!

Great hotel. Staff were great both at the front desk and in the restaurant. We were able to check in early which was really helpful for us. Location to the sights we wanted to see was very convenient. Overall - a great hotel!

Da rivedere le stanze

Sono rimasta molto delusa dalle stanze di questo hotel. Mentre l'esterno si presenta abbastanza bello, con un parco fluviale intorno molto rilassante, le camere, al contrario sono piccolissime, molto spartane, un micro televisore anni '90... Non so se esistono altre stanze, le recensioni degli altri viaggiatori non rispecchiano la nostra esperienza.

Delizioso albergo sulle sponde del fiume Biferno

Esperienza decisamente positiva. Paesaggio circostante estremamente rilassante. Personale professionale e disponibile. Arredamento modesto, ma comodo. Unica pecca: le porzioni del ristorante sono un po' risicate per il loro prezzo (anche per chi soggiornava con me).

Ihana, rauhallinen paikka - koski kohisi ulkona, ei muuta ääntä. Hyvä palvelu sujuvalla englannilla (ja tietysti italialla). Italialaiseksi kelpo aamiainen, lounastarjolu OK (esim. pasta hyvää), mutta illallismenu (sama lista kuin lounaalla) oli hiukan vajaa eikä ihan kulinaarista huippua. Viinit tosi hyviä.

A Perfect Stay

This was our first trip to Italy. Went to Colle d' Anchise to visit the village where my parents were born. We stayed at La Piana dei Mulini and loved every single thing about it. Meticulously maintained, simple but very beautiful. The rooms, while modest, were spotless and comfy. We enjoyed some very fine food and wonderful service. Breakfast was delightful with a basket of freshly homemade pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. Best of all was the personal attention and service from everyone at La Piana. Each one went out of their way to make our stay perfect, to make us feel at home. I can recommend La Piana without hesitation, so if you find yourself in the Italian countryside and need a place to spend the night or somewhere to get the most wonderful meal La Piana would be a perfect choice.

A perfect place

Everything about our stay was perfection. La Piana dei Mullini looks like something from a movie. Just what you think the Italian countryside should look like. Rooms were small but meticulously clean and fresh. The food was delicious, especially the veal steak. Complimentary breakfast of freshly homemade pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. The staff took good care of us and absolutely went out of their way for us. It was a lovely stay.

Review regarding this wonderful hotel.

This is a hidden charm of a location. Certainly not the Hilton or brand name location but just a beautiful old combination Mill and Horse Stables. Yes, this once once at least 100-years ago a mill that controlled the flow of water, as well as a private stables for a horse farm. The facility is still original but changes made for it to serve as a small hotel and wonderful and charming restaurant. Located outside of Bojano, Italy near small villages that date back over 200-years. We ventured here to visit the area my grandfather was born in around 1904 and found this hotel and chose it to stay the night. There are only a few rooms at the Inn and allow for a handful of guests to spead the night. The grounds are in a valley of green lush grass surrounded by beautiful scenery. The restaurant is the pride of the owner and serves great food. No room service or gift shop here. This is just a place to stay if you visit this charming area. The staff are great and work to make your stay perfect. Don't expect all kinds of standard amenities as this should be classified as a truly out of the way hotel and restaurant. No bell service and the rooms are above the old mill and are just great. They don't have A/C but your here for your eyes to absorb the beauty of this location.
