"Great house. Enjoyed a walk along the beach. Loved the fire place. Had everything we needed to enjoy a f"

"Mostly very good. However on last day there was an incident with an open fire left unattended on an adjacent vacant block. High winds were expected. Reported to the property managers who basically said if you feel threatened vacate!!! And call TAZ Fire. We ended up extinguishing it ourselves. Expected more practical help from the PM or a call from the Owners."

Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment with stunning Ocean Views | Terrace/patio

"Our stay at Whale watcher was very disappointing. Although the view is amazing the property is expensive and lacking essentials. We had no coffee or milk. We were missing utensils and there was glass on the bathroom floor. When we tried to contact the property manager through multiple channels there was no return phone call or reply. The signage around the accommodation threatening cleaning fees is also very off putting. We contacted the property manager after our stay and they blamed COVID...

"The house is well presented and clean within driving distance from Coles bay. Heating may be an issue as no heating in bedrooms. During our stay, a little noisy and exposed early mornings as there is a lot of building in the neighbourhood and there is no fence or shrubs around the house. Windy times, timber panelling at front and back of house, work as flutes and quite noisy. Has a homely feeling and comfortable."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided guidance on local restaurants and hiking the trail to Wineglass Bay. Our stay was brief but lovely. The view from our suite was amazing. Only downside was that the WiFi was not working but we made due- who needs WiFi with such a beautiful view. "

Freycinet Lodge

"What an amazing property here in Freycinet National Park. The cabin was spacious, clean, had a great sanitized jetted tub, back porch, dedicated parking, and you felt immersed in nature. The lodge was restful and the complimentary breakfast was sumptuous. Highly recommend this property for the convenience to the park, amazing cabin, and value for the money. Limited wifi where you "time out" easily but that was not a deal breaker. "

Coles Bay House

8/10 Good

"Pleasant couple of nights at Coles Bay, although weather was variable. Must do walk up to Wineglass Bay look out if weather is clear. Don’t make our mistake of walking up to the main visitor centre as you can take your car right up to the top car park to start this walk. There is also a boat cruise around the bay if weather allows. Good eatery in the town centre. Try the seafood linguine. "

The Blue House - Freycinet Holiday Houses

10/10 Excellent

"We're so glad we booked the blue house. It was perfect. The beds, pillows, utensils and everything you can think of good quality. The location is fantastic and it worked well with seperate areas for the kids, and my wife and I. The backyard backs on to the estuary/beach and two little jetties. Next time we're in Tassie we're booking here. We stayed three nights and could happily stayed a week."
