"Excellent staff fantastic chef food was brilliant and plenty of it. Room was very warm and cozy we would recommend it to everyone. Lovely welcome and the lady that served us breakfast was amazing made you feel very welcome. See you soon again Parking free which helped."

"The lodge itself was perfect! Our Cocker spaniel loved the decking and knowing how safe he was made it even more great. Perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble. And the steak given to us on the first night was delicious! Cannot recommend enough."

"When you don’t want to leave, you know that you have had a great holiday. And Winston Farm Lodge delivered!!Not only set in the most spectacular rural area but the lodge and hot tub allowed you to take a break from the fast paced life we live in. Lovely theme within the Lodge and the most comfortable beds. Grateful for the personal touch of milk and eggs, not to mention sausages!! (On a personal note, we felt that the duvets were a little small as my men are tall. There could be a few more items in the kitchen, possibly extra serving dishes, another frying pan and more food storage cupboard rather than drawers.) This didn’t detract from the beauty of Kingfisher Lodge and like so many before us, we want to return.,"

"Very comfortable and well equipped property in a v quiet location. Very friendly and helpful owners, and a lovely welcome pack provided including home-made jam, fresh plums and tomatoes from their garden. Two National Trust properties nearby (Erddig and Chirk). Nice walking country too but beware that footpath markers and stiles were sometimes missing and some paths were overgrown through lack of use (not the owners' fault of course!)."

"Had a wonderful week here, the location on the canal was perfect, really enjoyed watching the boats go past.Easy to get into nearest town for shops.House was clean, tidy and well equipped. Wonderful welcome pack also supplied. Spacious and excellent layout. Lots of appliances. Really enjoyed. Recommend this property."
