Staff was friendly and answered questions about the area. we loved the freshly cooked breakfast each morning and there was a room you could get snacks and drinks. our room had a cooler we could use to go on day trips and fresh beach towels!! "I stayed one night at the Seagate, the property gives the real feel of island living and being surrounded by nature. Penny and Kelly were very accommodating, allowing me to check in early and get my day started. Penny helped me with my map for activities and provided a good breakfast early on checkout day. The property sits high on a hill with a great view of the island from the balcony. It was easy to find from the ferry. The room was comfortable and cozy with a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine for convenience of making my own coffee to have on the balcony if I wanted. I recommend the Seagate Hotel and will definitely stay again if I return to Vieques."

"We had a lovely stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and very well organized, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring the town. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, especially with helping us navigate the area and sharing great local recommendations. We also really appreciated the thoughtful offer of morning coffee. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and convenient stay!"

"La Casona Blanca is a gorgeous property. We greatly enjoyed the pool and shaded spots outside to relax. The views from the highest balcony are spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped, and the home and grounds were in great shape. Charles is an excellent host as well. We had a wonderful stay."

"The cottage is incredible. Truly amazing. The beds are comfortable, linens in abundance and kitchen well stocked. It was easy to call this home while on Vieques. We utilized the AC in the bedrooms at night and didn’t particularly miss it in the rest of the house. There is a nice breeze when the porch doors are open. We spent a lot time on the deck overlooking the ocean. Morning tea and afternoon cocktails, star gazing and bird watching. The caretaker April, went over & above to ensure things are just as they should be. Small thoughtful touches are reflected everywhere. Her communication was thorough and helpful at every turn.Keep in mind the cottage sits right on the ocean. The waves can get loud. It didn’t bother us, we loved it. Our visit was in off season so some places were closed for the season but we took advantage of the places that were open. El Norte & El Yate (very local) for dinner as well as Mar Azul. Mar Azul is the spot where a lot of Americans hang out. Truly the best burger we’ve ever had. Great service at the bar. We drifted over to IL Blok for music on the rooftop with Henry the guitar player and a stunning view. We will return to Blue Moon. I can’t recommend it highly enough."
