Although there is a restaurant, there is still plenty of peace and tranquility. The timing of the noise is just right. The size of the unit works - not too big, not too small. I like the touch of the bathrobes, not everyone in Belize provides them, but they should. It's so convenient for the climate when transitioning between showering and dressing.」

「Such a great place to stay. Had everything we needed. We can not wait to come back and will absolutely be wanting to stay here. 」

「The design of the studio is quite unique and it took some time to adjust and appreciate the architectural uniqueness of the design. It makes one feel as if they may be in a submarine under the ocean and has a beautiful view of the lagoon. The shower was a great size, with plenty of hot water, but the window was also in need of repair. The picture in the advertisement of the view is actual. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Miriam, the hostess, was very attentive. The poolside was lovely....

「Great location on the beach with a dock. The cabana itself is dated and in need of some repair, though all amenities were available. 」

「Very unique location for a home to rent. Almost all others in the area is hotels. On the boardwalk and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars. Keyless entry, that manually locks. Furniture was not clean. Shower burning hot, but there is an outdoor shower. 」

「Perfect location, their is a supermarket just next door. The saff is very helpfull and friendly. The only thing I would add is a place to unpack your clothes. The property has no storing nor hangers for your clothes. In the bathroom there are no towel hooks which could be nice to have. The toiletries could have more comfortable dispensers and not just small wooden cups」

「Very clean. Carmen the manager was great and so we're all the staff. Right on the main street and all the restaurants, about 150yd from the beach, 100yds from the beach sidewalk. If you have 2 good legs you don't need transportation to access everything in town. Fairly quiet.」

「The apartment was pretty well equipped and served our needs well. The pool needed cleaning so we didnt use it and there were some minor maintenance issues, that did not really affect our stay, we advised housekeeping about.」

「We had such a relaxing stay. Sunrises in the morning from the porch are stunning. Candy and Rick were both so helpful and nice. Candy even arranged for the Tropic Air fight to wait for us since our flight was several hours late. They go on and beyond in helpfulness. Thank you so much for everything. 」

「Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!」
