「Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!」

「Very clean. Carmen the manager was great and so we're all the staff. Right on the main street and all the restaurants, about 150yd from the beach, 100yds from the beach sidewalk. If you have 2 good legs you don't need transportation to access everything in town. Fairly quiet.」

「We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-equipped for groups or families. We especially appreciated the large tables, games, and thoughtful touches that made it ideal for spending time together. 「This is a beautiful, clean property very close to the sidewalk in Placencia. The hosts were GREAT, check in was a breeze and the AC was cold!! They have a small but deep pool on top of it all!! I highly recommend Driftwood Gardens and will definitely stay again. 」
