Hopkins Bay Belize, a Muy'Ono Resort

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and three teenagers absolutely loved this resort!!! Hopkins is a must-visit place. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and we got many Garifuna cultural experiences. The resort is stunning. We had a car but we were able to walk to the town-loved semeti giffiti and nice cream and drove to bocawina for a waterfall hike which was beautiful still even though it was rainy season."

"If the cabana I was in was any closer to the beach it would almost be in the water. The unobstructed view of the sea was amazing from the chairs and hammock on the front veranda. In front of the cabana there were chairs and hammocks near the waterline as well. Arlene is a fantastic host and supplied the cabana with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay there again."

"It is unusual for a place to live up to all the praise heaped upon it, and yet The Sleeping Giant very much did. I visited with my wife and children and we all had a remarkable time. Lovely amenities, delicious cuisine, warm staff… we just left the country and when asked what their favorite part of our 5 week trip was my children immediately said The Sleeping Giant and asked when we could go back. That’s as ringing an endorsement as any, and we wholeheartedly agree. Can’t wait to go back!"

They didn't just provide great service—they made us feel like family. Every interaction was warm, welcoming, and sincere. One staff member who truly stood out was **George**. His attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay unforgettable. He was always attentive, accommodating, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. George is a tremendous asset to the resort. The resort itself was absolutely immaculate. Every area was spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed to create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for—quiet, welcoming, and the perfect place to unwind. And let's not forget the food! Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, expertly crafted, refreshing, and the perfect complement to each day in paradise.
