The lodge is very cozy and the restaurant is top-notch. Cabin was small but comfortable. Beautiful location in the middle of a state park. My only recommendation is they need more chairs and benches around the property for those who want to read or rest under the trees.
Quite woodland retreat. A wonderful cabin with two beds and a sitting area with TV and eating area. Great size room, not far from the main building where you order your dinner to go and eat it in your cabin due to COVID
Friendly staff

Quick overnight getaway with friends. Basic with few frills but, peaceful and tranquil. Staff even called to check on check in time to ensure we didn't miss out on ordering food. Definitely worth a visit if you don't mind simple clean accommodations.
I've always wanted to stay at these cabins. I've frequented Giant City park quite often. This was my first trip back in years and I'm glad I booked this. Covid restrictions didn't impact our stay here at all. Staff was extremely friendly.
I drove in from Chicago and was experiencing heavy traffic, the staff was very accommodating for our late check in. I will definitely be returning.
This was the perfect place to go for a break from sheltering in place. Private cabins mean you don't have to share the air with other guests, and there are endless outdoor activities in every direction. Staff was very friendly and respected pandemic guidelines, and food was top notch!
The staff is very friendly and willing to help any way they can.
The cabins were clean but the matresses were very soft as were the pillows.
Due to the Covid19 issues they do not clean the cabins every day while you are there. We did not have a problem with that as it eliminates anyone else in our cabin that could on knowingly bring the virus into our cabin.
The attached resturant has some great staff. Natalie was especially attentivfe without going overboard.
We stayed 3 nights and thought it was a good base for seeing the surrounding area.
Dinner and breakfast was super amazing! Very filling. Service was very good too. The room was very quiet. But the heating vent made some noise. Hope to stay here again.
It was lovely. The lodge itself has the charm of the work done by the CCC in the 30s. The cabin we stayed in was cozy, with a living room including a fire place and deck. It had a refrigerator and coffee pot. A microwave would added to its completeness. The natural setting and the mild, sunny days made it quite delightful.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Cabin was clean and comfortable. We were just passing through and needed a place to stay, but would absolutely come back again.
