Could be an excellent property . . . but . . .
Overall, our stay was just okay; we have a lot of complaints to lodge. Washing machine did not work; someone came out to look at it but no repair was made. We had to wash several loads by hand. Dishwasher doesn’t work and it smelled bad because of the nasty water at the bottom. The kitchen stove was very dirty; especially the grill. There was mold in the coffee maker. Pots and pans were filthy. No kitchen towels or dish cloths. Not much silverware either. Not nearly enough bath and hand towels for the number of people the property can house. Electrical outlets are a hazard; two in the floor in the dining room and one in the big room off the dining room. The bath vent fan hanging from the ceiling by a couple of wires. Missing a door panel in the shower. The big room off the dining room was very hot, so we investigated. We found two duct lines disconnected and laying in the crawl space - we reconnected them. And the deck; what a hazard; I have pics of what we repaired. Missing steps and a bench was breaking in two. If there had been a mop and bucket and a working vacuum we would have cleaned the place to our standards. If I hadn't already paid we would have gone up the road to the local hotels. I asked the owner for some kind or refund and I haven't heard back from him.
