Welcome to the M3 Ranch, a working cattle ranch with a gorgeous newly renovated cottage, the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee or late afternoon cocktail sitting on the front porch listening to and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Pigeon River and Smoky Mountains. Take a short stroll down to your private river access. In the evening enjoy the fire-pit, make s’mores, or dinner on the charcoal grill.

Activities abound year-round, hiking, fishing, tubing & rafting in spring, summer and autumn with snow skiing in the winter. If you are looking for outings, Asheville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Bryson City and Cherokee are just a short drive.

All the rooms in the private cottage have mountain views. The newly completed top-to-bottom renovation includes gas fireplace, luxurious bathroom with dual shower heads & jetted soaking tub. Primary bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and ample closet. The additional room has a futon, dressing table and wardrobe rack. All new appliances in the spacious kitchen and open dining room. We offer free wi-fi, washer & dryer, Roku live television, AC & heat.

Wonderful getaway!

Truly a wonderful place to stay! 15 minuets from downtown waynesville with a private creek to play in and everything you could need in the home. The bathroom is luxurious!!!

The M3 cottage was the perfect romantic getaway for my girlfriend and me. The property was super peaceful and quiet, right on the banks of the pigeon river. The property came with everything we needed and was incredibly clean and cozy. Molly and the property owners were always one call away if we needed anything at all. We highly recommend staying at this property, as the location is the perfect distance away from all of the activities in the area, and the property provide a memorable experience.

Perfect spot for scenic views and relaxing sounds of the river. Close enough to town for shopping and entertainment while still far enough away to be in God’s country. House was very clean with a comfortable bed, large shower/tub, spacious kitchen and everything you need for an enjoyable stay! We would highly recommend!

Perfect off the beaten path getaway

The cottage was immaculate. We really enjoyed shooting on the patio listening to the Pigeon River running right out front while we were drinking our coffee every morning.

Gorgeous Get Away

What an absolutely, well maintained property! The unit itself was across a gorgeous creek and had all the necessities to make our trip relaxing. (That tub!!) The location was convenient to Asheville and Lake Junaluska for us, yet secluded enough to allow us to relax and enjoy the natural setting.

The perfect quiet romantic getaway!

The cottage has a great kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed/bedroom and a wonderful host. There is pretty river just across the road if you want to hang out on the front deck. It is not far from Waynesville if you want to shop or dine out. I would gladly stay there again.

Tranquil riverfront cottage

This cottage is adorable and very well taken care of, and the location is wonderful! It is a very easy drive to Waynesville and Asheville. We loved being across the road from the river and even being able to hear the water with windows open while inside. Our dog enjoyed swimming in it and it’s easily accessible for fishing as well. The pictures don’t do the location justice and we are looking forward to staying again. Molly was a spectacular host—VERY quick to respond and accommodating! I will definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Clean and great location!

I initially choose this property due to the location on the river. It’s literally across the street so you can hear the water and see everything from the front porch. It’s very close to Waynesville and area towns. For a close eat we recommend the Haywood cafe. Very friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. Place is very clean and the host is thoughtful and communicates well.

Wonderful place to get away

If this is available, make sure you book it! Easy to get to, nice and peaceful area, cottage is lovely and has anything you could need. Was greeted with a lovely note with lots of goodies. Will definately be coming back to stay!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful experience here. Although we never met the hosts, we felt their hospitality met us at the door with a warm welcoming of cookies in the greeting basket! My husband and I talked about that homey touch all evening. This home is decorated very simply, yet beautiful. We found the simplicity to be very practical, and the beautiful, simple touches to be welcoming. The views from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom were stunning. It was cozy to lay in bed and look out the window to see the river flowing on by. The front porch was a nice spot to have coffee in the morning, and be greeted with the gentle sounds of the river. Our stay was wonderful, and we'd love to visit again sometime! - Jesse & Abigail

Beautiful properry

The home was as described. Super cute and cozy. It was on a beautiful property. Across the road from the river which made it that much more peaceful and relaxing. Easy to find from I-40. And host was super easy to reach and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this property.

CLEAN and QUIET

We LOVED everything about this property. There’s not a single negative thing that I can say about it. The host welcomed us with local gifts for us and our dog. It felt very high end to be out in the country. We will definitely be back!

Simply Amazing!

We had the best time and the location was exactly what we wanted. The house is positioned right across the street from a beautiful river and is the perfect remote but not too far from town location. The area is beautiful. The house is great - everything you could need and more. You can tell the detail and love the host put into the home, there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. They were so sweet and made us feel at home. We loved all the details and things they set our for our visit. Everything was amazing!

Excellent Cottage in Clyde NC

If you are looking for a quiet retreat then this is the place for you! The Pigeon River that is in front of the cottage is amazing! You can hear the river from the cottage. The cottage is very clean and the furniture is comfortable. The owners are amazing and are very easy to work with and very easy to contact. This is an amazing family and are locals to the area! We brought our small dog to the cottage and the owners had special treats waiting for her! We are already planning another trip in October for this cottage. You will not be disappointed.

Natural and serene setting

My husband, teen daughter and dog stayed here for 3 days in April. The decor was charming and the kitchen and living area were spacious. However, our favorite spot was the front deck, listening to and watching the river. We were amazed when we saw a bald eagle visiting the river a couple of times! The abundant windows let in lots of light. There is a road between the cottage and the river but the minimal amount of vehicles was not intrusive, in our opinion. The owner was very courteous, prompt with responses, and dedicated to assuring we were enjoying our stay, which we definitely did. And pet-friendly is always a plus! We would love to stay again.
