"Well presented cottage,but it was a very wet,windy and cold week and the heating came on very low and was controlled by an app. We had to buy hot water bottles and blankets to stay warm in the lounge. The bad smell came from wrong water traps on the showers and bowls and had to be topped up with water every time the toilets were flushed."

"Very nice cottage .Nice and clean , well equipped Good centre for touring round . A pity there is no pub within walking distance."

"A lovely cottage withall you need. The nearby beach is a hidden little gem.Lots to do and see in the towns and villages in the local area, both on the coast and inland.We would certainly visit again."

"While the power house is the ideal place for a family party haveing stayed there twice before we found this stay a little disappointing,it’s very tired upstairs furniture is very old while the beds are comfortable the bedding is very shabby and need’s replacing,the showers are poor they are either scalding or freezing not good ,the tv in the second lounge only works on one channel and the lounge was cold we didn’t use that lounge ,having said all this we had a fab weekend the restaurant down the hill is fantastic we had a lovely celebration meal there and would highly recommended it ,hot tub and sauna very good , kitchen also good and well equipped it is a good house for your celebration just needs upgrading "

"Lovely cottage with good facilities. We stayed for 4 nights in this small but well equipped cottage. Plus side, the bedrooms were furnished to a high standard same with the bathroom and kitchen. The main living area was very comfortable with a real fire that was great for the evenings . A couple of minor points were that there wasn’t anywhere to hang you coats and the main table that was folded couldn’t be used as some of the feet were missing. So board games were played on the floor. But didn’t spoil the fun.. location is excellent for all the main visiting sites.. Parking is hit and miss and if you have large car the lane is very narrow for parking.. A few nights we had to park a short distance away in another street. Overall though we enjoyed our stay"

"Lovely, cosy , well decorated cottage.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, along with our 3 kids and two dogs. The cottage had everything we needed and was located close to lots of lovely beaches/pubs etc. The only slight issue was the shower not being very powerful ( a family full of thick curly haired people, it did take along time to wash hair) but everything else was perfect and the hosts were on hand for any queries.Would highly recommend and the kids already want to go back !"

"The Forge was very nice and clean but needed the finishing touches egbathroom no where to put tooth brush soap shower gel in shower shampoo etc nowhere to hang anything wardrobes we're far to high to hang anything .Wet boots and coats nowhere to put when coming in wet"
