Ennerdale Water is approximately 10 minutes away by car, while the Coast to Coast route is just 200 yards from the property.

The Property

Ennerdale Edge provides comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests, with four separate bedrooms, a welcoming living room and kitchen and laundry facilities suited to short breaks and extended stays.

Four Double Bedrooms

The property has four bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable double bed and storage for clothes and personal belongings.

Fresh bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for all guests.

Please note that all four bedrooms have double beds rather than individual single beds.

Bathroom

The family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, giving guests the choice of a refreshing shower or relaxing soak after a busy day.

Please note that the property has one bathroom and one WC for all eight guests.

Living Room

The welcoming living room provides a comfortable space to relax after a day working, walking, cycling or exploring West Cumbria.

With comfortable seating, a traditional feature fireplace and a Smart TV, guests can unwind together and enjoy their favourite programmes using their own streaming accounts.

Free on-street parking is available in several areas around the property, making it convenient for guests travelling by car.

There is no private driveway or allocated parking space. Street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.

Guest Access

You'll have exclusive use of the entire home throughout your stay, including all four bedrooms, the family bathroom, kitchen, living room, utility room and lockable covered storage area.

The property offers convenient self check-in, with full arrival and access instructions provided before your stay.

Ennerdale Edge is conveniently positioned for exploring the quieter western side of the Lake District and the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.

Ennerdale Water is approximately a 10-minute drive away, offering peaceful lakeside walks, mountain scenery and opportunities to explore the surrounding fells.

Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere are also wonderful destinations for walking, photography and scenic days out.

Closer to the property, Longlands Lake provides another attractive location for enjoying a walk and the surrounding countryside.

The nearby coastal village of St Bees offers a beach, dramatic sandstone cliffs and coastal walks overlooking the Irish Sea.

Whitehaven is within reach by car, with its historic harbour, restaurants, cafés and attractions including The Beacon Museum and The Rum Story.

For families looking to explore further, Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway make excellent day trips, while Keswick and the wider Lake District offer more opportunities for sightseeing.

Before Your Stay

Guests are required to complete our disclosed pre-arrival requirements, including accepting our rental agreement and completing identity verification.

Security Deposit and Damage Protection

Before check-in, guests are required to choose one of two options:

• A refundable £150 security deposit, processed as a temporary card pre-authorisation. The hold is released following checkout provided no charges are due.

• A £25 non-refundable damage waiver, covering up to £150 of qualifying accidental damage, subject to the waiver terms and exclusions.

Guests can choose whichever option suits them best. Both options are arranged securely through our guest portal before arrival.

Full check-in instructions are normally provided approximately 24 hours before arrival once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.
