A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. 「The place is everything that it says ! The inside is decorated so cute and it’s very spacious for a large group . It’s very convenient for a short uber ride to Broadway . Our only complaint was the floors weren’t cleaned very well they were sticky there were also other sticky areas that were missed by the cleaning staff . But over all we were happy with the place . 」

「We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and had a really nice time! Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time just hanging out looking at the lake, canoeing, and attempting to fish off the dock. We really liked all the birds and wildlife to see right there on the property. Kitchen had all the basic gear you'd expect, although you'll want to bring your own spices, oils, etc. 」

「Clean and updated property. Although it states non smoking the property entrance and hallway had a strong smoke smell. Also the air conditioning was not installed this past weekend. It was humid on Friday night being on the 2nd floor but the rest of the weekend was fine due to lower than normal temperatures. Lots of extra/hidden fees which doubled the price. Only stayed here for a family wedding so not many options. Host was very responsive. 」

「An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO.」

「Simple, clean, complete. My wife and I stayed here in May 2025 and loved it. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive. It was easy to get to, plenty of street parking. Everything was clean and working well. We have no complaints. There are a lot of fun things to see and do in St. Cloud and this was a great central location for us. We walked to the central restaurant district for our meals, which was close by. 」
