The room itself was great. The hotel is brand new, so everything was very clean, fresh, and comfortable. The kitchenette is a nice feature, but unfortunately nothing is provided to actually use it. When I asked at the front desk, I was told we could “rent” a kitchen package, but the employee couldn’t tell me the cost. When I suggested this should be communicated at check-in, I was rather dismissively told, “It’s on the website.” Except it isn’t—the website says to bring your own kitchen supplies and doesn’t mention rental packages or pricing. I understand this hotel is designed primarily for extended stays, where bringing some kitchen essentials is reasonable. For a one- or two-night stay, however, that’s unrealistic, making the rental option especially important to communicate. There’s no breakfast, which I knew when booking, but coffee is available throughout the day. Unfortunately, they had completely run out of creamer and only had sugar. Running out happens, but with a Sam’s Club just a six-minute drive away, this seems like something the hotel could have easily restocked rather than simply going without. For a hotel that doesn’t offer breakfast and only provides coffee for its guests, I found that disappointing. The staff were friendly, but need more training. As a new Marriott property, there will be growing pains, but I expected a more polished guest experience. The hotel itself has a lot of potential, and these are simple issues that could easily be fixed.

The tub wasn’t clean- appeared that perhaps they forgot to rinse it. Everything else was clean. Had 1 toilet paper roll. Ran out in the morning and phoned down to ask for more. It didn’t arrive so I finally went and found one from a cleaners cart and took it myself which was annoying. The exercise room had no floor mat and limited equipment. Generally the feel was very cold and institution like. And weird perfumes everywhere. I won’t stay there again. Just not a warm or pleasant feel to the place.

To say the least on day one of check in. My TV and microwave don’t work. Took maintenance 2 days to fix the TV with completely replacing it. Well the microwave… never worked all 5 days and staff knew right away after they were advised by a repair man who came into my room while I was occupying the room to try and repair the microwave. Management never reached out to offer a stay in a different room or offer some sort of comp since I was never able to reheat food I brought for meals
