Cozy Cabin

  • Newly remodeled 120 year old cabin. Approximately 8 miles south of Helena. New stove and fridge in large kitchen. French doors that lead out of the bedroom to a small deck. Livingroom has a functioning fireplace. Step back to a simpler time. There are several steps you need to traverse. The bathroom has a single shower (no bathtub). There is a small deer that likes to rest under the deck. Please let us know if you need to use the little sheepherders wagon, it has a double bed and a tiny fridge perfect for beverages.

Cute and cozy cabin!

Fun place to stay. Close to Helena and good places to eat and enjoy the mountains.We loved the deck off the bedroom.

The property worked nicely for the stay in Clancy/greater Helena for a family wedding. Easy access to I-15. The overall property was very clean and organized. The shower was dirty - like with actual dirt/mud...kinda curious as the rest of the property was very clean. The sheepherder cabin was fun! I slept there and while it was Glamping-like, the bed comfy and small area clean, for me - admittedly sensitive to perfumes - the sheets were a bit 'too smelly' for me, presumably remnant from laundry soap? The 2nd night was not as strong...Overall, it was fun, eclectic, and very accommodating.

We understood it would be a rustic cabin. They didn't reveal the second bedroom is completely detached from the cabin. Children would have to sleep in a separate unit away from parents. Doors could not be locked in order to allow them access to the cabin during the night if needed. Seems unsafe. Also, all the modifications to combine two cabins into one created serious trip hazards. With the poor lighting and very uneven flooring it is not a safe environment for children or seniors. Can not recommend this cabin due to the many hazards that exist.

Old time cabin

They have did a really good job of fixing up the cabin for guest to stay in. Not your typical type of quarters to stay in. If your looking for a unique stay this would be it.

Great place to stay near Helena

We relaxed here for a couple nights, taking time out from a trek along the Lewis & Clark trail. The cabin provided everything we needed and made it very easy to relax.

This place definitely had the feel good rustic vibe. It truly was cozy, peaceful and so beautiful. We are hoping to be able to come back in the near future! Highly recommend staying here!

SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

This little cabin was an amazing place to stay. Very rustic, yet up to date with everything needed for a wonderful stay. We loved it from the moment we walked in. The details they put in were perfect and lovely. The hosts were awesome as well. Will stay there again if in the area.

It was an amazing experience, we loved the thought and detail that was put into this VRBO

This was a wonderful cabin and did an excellent job with all the details of it! We felt very comfortable here and appreciated all that you did. We’re excited for our next trip back to Montana and hopefully staying back in this cabin and can’t wait to see how it grows!

Perfect cabin getaway!

This Montana cabin was the perfect addition to our first trip to Montana. I’d say it made our trip more memorable and meaningful. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends that travel to Montana in the future and we will be back next summer.

Rustic, Cozy Cabin

The cabin was perfect for myself and my wife. Bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was small but entirely workable. It was in close proximity to Helena and various State and National parks. Extremely comfortable and cozy. Perfect for a couple or a small family.

Nice cozy cabin. Excellent kitchen and wifi access. One problem to report was the raised steps between kitchen and hallway. I tripped over it a couple times. Maybe a sign to watch step would help or level off that step to avoid tripping.

Trip to Canada

Clancy was one of our stops on our way to Canada. When I picked this location, I absolutely loved what I seen now that I have stayed there. I can’t wait to go back. You will absolutely enjoy the deer that feeds around this cabin and acts like they are your pet, my husband and I would sit out on their bedroom deck and the deer would just walk up eat lay down and not even move. It was great so peaceful. Cabin was amazing very well organized and very quaint; highly recommend staying at this place.

Excellent experience

We had a great time at this really amazing log cabin(s) VRBO. Felt like the old west. Lots of charming historical memorabilia. It’s a 5 star for sure. Would have liked some historical background to the buildings. How old are the cabins, who lived there, who built them.
