The employees were nice and helpful at front desk. However cleaning staff never made bed or changed sheets during my 6 night stay.The rooms have been updated but the carpets in the hallways are worn and dirty.The orice was good compared to other hotels in the area which I appreciated.

The rooms are large and pretty clean but in one previous water damage that hadn’t been fully corrected was still visible . The common areas have not been kept up. Carpets and walls are worn and in need of cleaning. The area to the left of the checkin counter was messy with papers and tools. However the staff was very nice and it was quiet.

Thoughtful host

The morning Hotel staff was super friendly & helpful as we were staying there for an early morning surgery in Cincinnati. He wanted to be sure I had a coffee & fruit even though the breakfast area was not opened yet. He made my morning by being so thoughtful.

Not the worst

Pool wasn’t open, employee (male) at the front desk asked uncomfortable questions after looking at my (female) ID such as my birth year (said I looked young), my height (said I looked tall), asked why I was in town. Stopped once I told him my boyfriend would be joining me and I’m pretty sure he only asked me these questions because it appeared I was traveling as a single female. Our room was very nice, bed was very comfortable, provided breakfast was mediocre. I liked the waffle machine.

Rude unhelpful front desk, management worse

Front desk staff was rude, Management was even worse. The room has been redone and found it comfortable and clean. They were very sloppy when they painted so the bathroom looks terrible but clean.

Perfect Trip

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to local attractions. The lobby was bright and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our visit. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the ocean. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed, minibar, and a large flat-screen TV. The bathroom was modern and featured both a shower and a separate bathtub, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any requests we had.

Service not so good, hotel was clean.

Afternoon employee did not really know the surrounding areas as I asked a question about grocery stores (was late, around 10:30) and there was a Walmart less than 1 mile away which would have been an option had he told me about it. Also asked him the 2nd night to turn on the lights in the breakfast area as we had a family game night but he stated he could not do it. Breakfast was also very poor and light on options. Hotel was very clean though.

Perfect for the Purpose

In town overnight. Pleasantly surprised with the quality. Convenient, clean, and comfortable, with an exceptionally reasonable price. Only downside was a lack of items on the breakfast buffet at 8:00 am, but at least they had hot coffee.

Didn't like the breakfast. Coffee was brown water so skipped it. Was a good cheap hotel to stay at while we visited family.
