The room was very disappointing, the sheets were clean but the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly and the toilet seat was still dirty. The property itself was in disrepair and needed a full facelift. The main issue was how we were told the room was not longer available due to overbooking (Metallica concert) and then being emailed to say we had got a room followed by a phone call to say we hadn’t. We turned up not knowing whether we had or not (there were multiple other customers there doing the same thing) but we got told we had one of the staff’s rooms instead of our original booking. Not sure if this contributed to the poor cleanliness but either way we would not recommend. Only good point was the location to the stadium.

Needed a bed for the night, central and near the train station, room was clean and shower decent. Was good value for money compared to what some hotels in Cardiff charge when a big event is happening. Did the job

This apartment had great space and really useful cooking facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit.
