Chumbe Island Vacations

"A wonderful eco resort! Cute bungalow's with compost toilets. We slept with all the windows and doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze. staff and food fantastic. Good snorkelling. Coconut crab night walk was fascinating. We climbed up the lighthouse and walked around the island on low tide - saw heaps of starfish and crabs! We also relaxed in the swinging day beds and read our books. 4 nights was a lovely amount of time if you can…but lots just came for 1 night."

"The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle was free and even though our arrival flight was delayed by 2 hours the driver was there as we arrived "

"Generally, it was OK. There doesn’t seem to be an office on site. The only person we talk talked to during our stay was the guard who took us to our room and answered our questions. When we arrived, we waited for our room to be ready, they didn’t even ask for our name to confirm the booking. It was a comfortable place close to the airport."
