"The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. "Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. "Parking was very expensive outside the hotel, so we used a cheap council carpark two hundred yards away. The hotel was pleasant and the staff were friendly - we had an 8 day stay, together with our dog. Breakfast was mostly an excellent selection, but our last morning coincided with an English Bank holiday and the hotel was so full the choice was very limited. We enjoyed staying at this hotel."
