Excellent stay, comfortable, clean room, great staff, easy check in and out and a delicious buffet breakfast. One waitress remembered that i had asked for GF bread on the first day so she asked if i would like some again when i came in for breakfast on the second day which was a lovely surprise that she took the time to remember me. And to top it all off they have included parking on site. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Very nice and helpful check-in staff. Clean hotel, very nice room (makeup mirror settings in bathroom!), free parking, and about 15 min drive to town center. Restaurants and gas nearby. Would definitely stay there again. I think you need a car for the location I think.

Needs usb charging points in the room. Couldn't close the bathroom door. Shower over bath didn’t like. The staff are amazing the restaurant great food. Breakfast buffet warm went cold quickly. Only stayed 1 night unsure if i would go back.

Decent place to stay. Location is nice.

The receptionist melissa was friendly and helpful. However they are running short of staff so cleaning room took a long time. Our room was not cleaned by 3 pm so when we came back we found the room was still dirty. We took a nap, then the housekeeping came knocking around 4pm but by that time, we already napped and they wouldnt come back later to clean. We like the location though, its close to mall, food and the street was prettt quiet.

Disappointed when booking this hotel, that I missed the standard room rate did not include tax. Please check as most nightly room rates includes the 15% GST in NZ, “THIS HOTEL DOES NOT”.For this genuine reason I won’t stay here again as Hotel management were not helpful.

We happened upon the hotel in the midst of a rebrand. The Quality Inn branding still appeared on the digital boards at each floor offering a happy hour between 5 and 7. The bar staff were unaware of the happy hour. The tap beers were not working but they honoured the offer with $2 off bottles of cider. There was a couple of tours in the hotel and we were placed in a adjoining room with a locked door beside a group of men talking and smoking/vaping. It is of course against the rules of the hotel to smoke/vape. We complained and the hotel was happy to relocate us to a very quiet end of hall room which was much nicer. The beds were very comfortable.
