Stayed 3 nights, good location for walking into town if you don't mind walking a few blocks. The first room I was given was not ready for occupation, work was being done on the shower with wet towels all over the floor, unpleasant. The friendly receptionist came up and brought me another key. Satisfied with my stay apart from a very bad smell of drains when I used the shower the first time, and the wifi was quite poor, constantly dropping (I was on 4th floor).

Friendly staff at reception and housekeeping. Housekeeping manager helped with my suitcase to our car. Great location to walk 10 minutes downtown. Food in restaurant looked good but the vegetarian option not to our taste. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Christchurch.

Checkin was easy, the staff offered early check-in at 9:30am. Room is super clean and new. Available free parking is a good option for CBD and walking distance to amenities.

Staff need more training as they gave us incorrect information re dining etc. Can not get room service breakfast in the weekend s which was disappointing

Stay was just okay. The breakfast buffet was too expensive for what it was. Not much selection and not enough food to cover people. The room service was a let down. 2 days in a row they left dirty cups/glasses but did everything else ok. Rooms were alot smaller than the photos in booking but reasonably modern. Tv system in room was less than ideal. Could not view any live sport due to the fact they had no sky available. Overall the hotel was ok but probably look to elsewhere next time
