Althea was an excellent host, her communication was top notch and she answered all of our questions quickly and clearly.The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, even during our winter visit when there was a ton of snow in the area. We were visiting family and also spent time skiing at Searchmont, which was only about a 25-minute drive away — super convenient.Overall, a fantastic place to stay with a wonderful host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it."

The interior is cozy and minimal but had everything we needed, including very comfy beds that everyone slept well in!Some of our favourite features were the big windows that let in tons of natural light, a spacious pergola-covered patio for lounging by the water and a great BBQ setup. We loved being outside and really appreciated the peaceful surroundings.The host was great—responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions. We felt well taken care of from start to finish.Highly recommend this cottage for families, couples, or anyone looking to rest, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. We’d absolutely stay here again. I even managed to read two books—now that’s a good vacation."
