「Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location.」

「1 Star – Not Recommended This is not really a hotel but an old countryside pub with a few guest rooms. The location is extremely remote, and it is pitch black outside at night with very little lighting. The building is old, the rooms feel dated, and the overall experience was disappointing. If you’re expecting a comfortable hotel, you will likely be disappointed. I would not stay here again.」

「Natalie was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing excellent recommendations and local information. Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed...

「Great location for peace and quiet and walking into and around abingdon. Rooms basic but nice, mattresses could be more comfortable but were acceptable and the breakfast great and plentiful. My second and definitely not last visit.」
