The property, amenities, and staff were all first-rate. Our room, a one-bedroom apartment, really, was spacious and comfortable; we made good use of the kitchen and washer/dryer in our suite and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and pool available on the premises. We took advantage of the many restaurants, shops, and services within a few minutes walk from the lobby, and made good use of the subway just a little further on for our exploration of downtown Sydney. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking to get “out” of Sydney without actually leaving, this is the perfect spot. Such a peaceful place to relax and read a book, or fuel your adventurous side and go for a kayak or a hike to the top of a lookout. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, this is it. The owners Sarah and Michael are also some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and will make you feel at home and provide excellent tips for around the area.

We had been in Australia for a few weeks and only needed a place to crash that was downtown and cheap for two nights before our flight home. This was perfect. No frills. Small room. Reception was only open when we showed up. Convenient bar downstairs takes care of anything afterwards. Their fish and chips is good. Walking distance (for us- late 40s active) to 2 harbor areas. Did I mention the bar downstairs? Bottle shop (liquor store) attached and a large size, for a downtown, grocery store...

I am a female and was traveling solo. Stayed in a 4 person co-ed room with 3 male roommates and had a great experience. I slept on the top bunk and the bed was extremely comfortable. The locker space was spacious. I fit my carry-on suitcase and full backpack along with some other bags in there. The room and spaces were clean. I packed my own lock and a small noise machine. If you are a light sleeper, would definitely recommend bringing ear plugs/eye mask, but otherwise everyone was respectful...
