Welcome to Rièzes! The gypsy caravans are situated on a lovely property in a small, secluded and very peaceful village.
The comfort and facilities are exceptional for what is often described as “unusual” accommodation; you’ll find everything you need, both inside and out.

Are you looking above all for peace and quiet? You’ve come to the right place!
Weather permitting, you have access to a private garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a fire pit. A large communal garden features a relaxation area with a sauna, a water feature and a Nordic bath (available when the outside temperature is above 10°C and, where possible, heated with wood to over 30°C), as well as a proper pétanque court.
The caravan is spacious and has all the amenities you could need, except for a television, which has been deliberately omitted in this place where our guests come to unwind. Free WiFi is, however, available.

The village of Rièzes sits at an altitude of 325 metres and is located 10 km from the town of Chimay. It is also just a few minutes’ drive from Rocroi, a fortified French town. Scourmont Abbey is 4 km away. The Eau d’Heure Lakes are 20 minutes away. Also nearby is Lake Virelles and its Aquascope, perfect for birdwatchers. The Grand Canyon is a popular local attraction. Not to mention the 3 Valleys Steam Railway in Mariembourg or the Brasserie des Fagnes in Couvin.

There are plenty of hiking trails within easy reach, and we even have detailed maps and guides available for you.
Do you enjoy cycling? You can look forward to rides through fields and woods – the region is simply stunning for lovers of the great outdoors.

If you’d like to enjoy as much good food as possible without having to cook… we offer breakfasts (savoury and/or sweet) and even simple meals (artisanal pizza made in Virelles) or full-course dinners (starter, main course, dessert and wine) tailored to your preferences.
