Perfect for what we needed. It was close to our daughter, shopping and restaurants. Private parking space was nice to have since street parking in Chicago is not always easy! Would stay here if again if available when we need it.

Really great spot and space! The bathroom is the real appeal piece, and it definitely holds up to the photos. Walls are very thin though, unfortunately. We were anxious the whole time about making too much noise as we were the top floor, but definitely heard every movement of the downstairs neighbors as well. Overall really super great for the price, and it was close to everything in Chicago we needed to get to!

Lovely place in great location

We stayed for the weekend to visit our daughter, who lives in the area, and we would choose this over place over a hotel any time - the apartment was in top condition, neat and clean, and beautifully furnished, with niceties like a state of the art coffee maker (beans included!) The host was very responsive to our questions. We look forward to a return stay very soon.

Best Kept Secret in Chicago!

I traveled back to visit our oldest son over a long weekend and my birthday. The property was one of the cleanest and nicest that I've ever stayed at in the last 8 years using VRBO. Very nice and responsive owners, which made the stay in Chicago even more enjoyable. Safe and secure location close to many restaurants and shopping. Definitely looking forward to my next stay here at this Charming Chicago Retreat!

The best sheets and towels of any rental EVER - so soft! Both bed and sofa were very comfortable and the host was incredibly responsive. Easy walk to bus stop for 76 and 56 buses and less than a mile to Logan Square Blue Line station so easy commute from airport. Less than one mile to both Adrian’s and Foodsmart grocery stores. Not for anyone with hip or knee problems as bed is very low and stairs are quite steep (third floor walk-up).

Lovely, chic 3rd floor sanctuary in Logan Square

Had a great, simple, restful stay at this property over Veteran's Day weekend. Perefct location for visiting with nearby friends & activities in Logan Sqaure area. Thoughtful hosts, great style & finishes, a 5-star bathroom, lots of closet space, L-shaped desk & bistro table. A guaranteed parking space at the property with gate! Be aware - it's a third floor space in a city: winding, fairly steep stairs; angled walls/ceilings that may require crouching in some cases, very comfy bed - just low to the ground so it can fit. Will plan to stay again if available.

Immaculate apartment in great neighborhood

This is a lovely stay for two people; clean and bright and well located. Note that there isn’t a full kitchen (this is described accurately in the listing) and it is a climb (again, this is noted). It was a hot (!!) weekend, but the a/c was lovely and efficient. Owners communicated well. One small issue: the backyard was fully inhabited by the tenants below; we wouldn’t have felt comfortable trying to use it. This might not usually be the case and it wasn’t important to us, but something to check with the owners about.

Yeah

It was alright. A decent place to stay. Has a thermostat so it won’t get cold. The parking was hard to find. They should post the picture previously and explain that there’s parking. The shower is cool yet awkward. It doesn’t actually close. It’s an open shower. Honestly, I’m never doing a VRBO again but with the parking spot and warmth, this is not a bad option. It’s also in the city. Gives almost everything one needs except for filtered water.

Lived up to our expectations

Everything is as shown in the photos. Very clean apartment. It had all the amenities we needed. Access to a laundry room, small kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Bathtub, shower full bathroom. A nice living area and office. I would recommend for future guests, bring a face mask or, eye mask? For when you sleep. Whatever they call those things. This is no fault of anyone just the way the place was built the bedroom has a skylight in it. So the sun will wake you up in the early morning. The neighborhood was very nice. We were recommended to stay in this particular neighborhood by friends who have lived here. Walking distance to many areas. We would definitely stay here again. No complaints.

Single adult oasis

I came back to Chicago to celebrate Christmas with family. While I love my fam, it’s such a treat to enjoy some alone time in my own space. Some of my favorite features: - secured parking so I didn’t have to worry about driving back late at night to find space - swanky and spacious bathroom; the shower was spa-like. I did not have time to enjoy the soaking tub but it looks inviting; and very equipped with toiletries - kitchen is also very equipped with coffee and tea, silverware and dishes for ordering in - the walk-in closet allowed me to put away all my personal belongings The apartment was cozy and bright. A few nice-to-haves if I may suggest: 1. bath towel bars or hooks in the bathroom 2. Area rugs for the bedroom and living room to warm up the space 2. A nightstand lamp But I’d definitely recommend it and would rebook on my next visit when I need some alone time.

This was my first ever time staying at home for traveling. I usually would book hotels, but we weren't able to find one to accommodate our needs. Luckily, I came across this property and it had what we needed and it was close to the attractions to where we were visiting. Upon arrival, I was bit apprehensive about the parking spot, but luckily the parking spot had kept our car secured the two nights we stayed, as it is a gated parking spot. The property is situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood seems very friendly and welcoming. There was a gentleman next door who came over to help us with the lock, as we struggled to figure how to unlock the door. We did had climb up two flights of stairs with our luggage, but it was worth it. The inside of place felt very homey, rather than feeling like you were staying in a traditional hotel. The ceilings are fairly high, though I would watch your head on some of the corners, as you could hit your head. The cleanliness of the place was astounding when we had arrived. My favorite part of the place was the bathroom. I really enjoyed soaking in the spa bath and showering in the modern shower the nights we had stayed. The communication with Thomas and Cynthia was impeccable. When we had questions about check-in/check-out or about the property, Thomas was prompt to respond to our questions. I would stay again in the future!

Lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay. The AC stopped working toward the end of our trip and unfortunately couldn't be repaired before checkout, but Thomas was responsive when we flagged it and worked with us on a partial refund. Would consider booking again!
