STAY was a great spot to rest our heads between busy days. We didn’t spend much time at the hostel, so for what we needed it for it was great! Wasn’t able to find the laundry, but otherwise our stay was nice. It was super walkable, we got to enjoy much of Wicker Park shopping and food, and close to subway stops!

The staff member who helped us was extremely kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help us with your bags up several flights of stairs. One issue with our stay there: the first night was rather hot outside, and the AC felt like it was barely on despite us resetting the thermostat. However, the AC fully kicked on by the next day. Not sure what happened, but we appreciated it since it was August! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it very quiet and peaceful.

Everyone was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The facility was clean, but do know they were making some repairs. Kitchen had what you needed. I could have used a fuller pillow, but that was no biggie. Close to a grocery store, pharmacy, Ulta (which was so helpful!), and some eateries. Close to the Metro, which was great! Not as close to downtown as I would have liked, but it wasn't too far either. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Overall was a good stay for the price point and location. Room was superficially cleaned and small but comfortable. It felt like the bedroom and bathroom could have used a deeper clean. Check in and check out instructions were clear, host was helpful and communicated promptly, and the location was super convenient and nice!

The staff was very helpful upon arrival and were there to assist as needed. The dormitory was clean and well maintained, with staff coming in daily to refresh linens and do laundry. I had a chance to chat with the manager of the hostile and he was very friendly and approachable. I was impressed with how respectful the other guests in the dorm were and would go back to STAY if I'm ever back in the area.

Best Hostel in Chicago

The accommodations and service was wonderful. The staff was amazingly friendly the facilities were very clean and the working space was great! While in Chicago I will surely stay here again.
