Beautiful Oceanfront Home on the Minas Basin

Welcome to the Minas Basin, home of the Worlds Highest Tides. Situated directly on the bay you can watch the tide come and go from the back deck or upstairs from your private balcony. This two bedroom two bathroom getaway is sure to provide relaxation and awe inspiring views of the world renowned tides.
Relax while watching the tied rise and fall, or walk to the beach a 3 min walk away.
In the cooler months relax by the wood burning stove while prepping dinner in the fully stocked kitchen.

Stunning Views, Lovely Home!

Absolutely loved our stay at your lovely home! We really didn’t want to leave. The home was so comfortable and felt like home. The views were spectacular with the rising and falling tides. Mesmerizing! Thank you for a vacation to remember.

Perfect house and view!

We had such a lovely stay, with an even better view! The house was perfectly equipped, for kitchen, bedding, bathrooms. A wonderful fire stove in the main living area we kept lit the whole time. We look forward to visiting again in the summer!

Delivered as Promised - and more

A wonderful 2 bedroom nicely updated oceanfront retreat. Truly ocean front! Bathrooms and Kitchen were FULLY appointed. Bedding was super comfy and the wood stove was an added bonus for a windy and rainy day. Host was 5 Star. would stay here again without hesitation.

Tranquility

Upon arrival the view of the Minus Basin was breathtaking from the backyard. The house was clean , it was very well stocked( best I have encountered in my travels). The beds were very comfy and showers in am were great. No issues with wifi. The shaded porch was comfortable especially in the hot weather. Close to the beach were we explored the ocean floor when tide was out. Sunsets from upper deck spectacular. Amazing weekend .

Wonderful get-away by the sea

The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend.

Incredible!

As if being able to see the Bay of Fundy out your back door isn't enough, this home was amazing! It was right out of a home decorating show, the space was comfortable, welcoming and beautiful. Dan and Jerica were available and accommodating. And the views!!! We took our chairs onto the lawn and soaked it all in. It was so relaxing to have this home as our base in Nova Scotia.

NYE getaway

The property is even lovelier than the photos and it has everything you could need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for any meals, super comfy bed, lots of wood for the stove, and very clean throughout. It was so easy communicating with the hosts and they are very thoughtful with their guests - would happily stay again!

Peaceful and Beautiful!

This property had the most peaceful, stunning view of the Minas Basin! The host was incredible in her communication and the home itself had everything you would ever need to enjoy your stay. The location was remote so a 30 minute drive to bigger hubs was something to take into account, but the local beaches, walks, food marts, and scenic views made the stay very warm and relaxing. Would stay here again for a quiet getaway.

A Very Comfortable Stay with Great Ocean Sunset Views

Both the owner and property manager were great with answering questions and concerns about our stay. We would definitely recommend this location to friends and family looking to explore all of the summer scenery that Nova Scotia has to offer.

Beautiful View

We had a great trip, the house was as expected and the view was incredible! Jerica was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout our whole stay. The location is very remote, we didn't realize how remote, so piece of advice for anyone staying, grocery shop in advance and don't plan on eating out.

Comfort and convenience in extraordinarily beautiful setting

This property directly overlooks the Minas Basin, which is a breathtaking perspective on the beauty of nature, weather, light, etc. The house is wonderfully comfortable and cozy, with every convenience you could want. We can't wait to return. Jerica and Dan are so responsive, dedicated, and congenial, you couldn't ask for nicer hosts.

Rural peace & quiet with unbeatable views.

This older house has been beautifully renovated from top to bottom with great attention to detail and decor. Watching the Bay of Funny tides change from the waterfront property was spectacular. We enjoyed this location as a relaxing home base for our day trips both near and far. There are many hiking trails and beaches just minutes away.

So pretty! Sunrise or sunset the property is gorgeous but if youd prefer to be inside, the design is also so cozy and well thought out. Clean, cozy and beautiful. Perfect 10/10
