"Wonderful experience for our group of 5 adults. Beautiful views, great deck for morning coffee.And we were greeted by seals floating in the water near the house, in the morning. The tea drinker in the group was grateful for the teapot in the kitchen. Very responsive owner/manager. He answered questions immediately. Property is steps from an 80 acre nature preserve which we took full advantage of. Just a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. !"

"My family and I loved our stay. The cottage is cute with a beautiful view of the sea from the deck. I walked to the beach several times each day and enjoyed the amazing scenery. Nearby Chéticamp is quaint and has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The Cape Breton Highlands National Park offers breathtaking views from your car and even more to explore and see on its hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again."

"My family has stayed at this location in 2019 and very much enjoyed it. It is located near a few beaches and near our local family which was a big plus again this trip. We were able to visit family and catch up and then not overwhelm them with the 5 of us. It was a great place to enjoy the area. Lots of visits to the local beaches. Just remember there is only 1 bathroom. Not a big deal for us as we knew this going up there and we just communicated and it was not an issue. Thank you for offering...

"We enjoyed our stay in the very cute Old Salt Cottage! It was very convenient to adventures in and north of Cape Breton park. Beds were comfy. Cottage is older but well maintained and freshly updated. Gas, groceries, and other convenience stores were not as close, but we were warned (it was not hard to remember to get stuff while we were out adventuring on the Cabot Trail). We would absolutely stay here again!"
