I have enjoyed my stay at the Woodlands Inn. My room is small but nice and clean and the staff are pleasant. It is conveniently located to the cricket stadium, which is one of my main reasons for visiting. There is a good tea shop across the road which offers good tea , samosas and snacks. The beach is not that far away from the hotel and can be accessed by walking or other transportation options nearby.

i stayed at Woodlands Inn for 6 days on a 11 day trip to India, primarily to watch some IPL cricket and do a bit of sightseeing. The Woodlands Inn was the best place for me to stay with wanting to do these things. The staff are pleasant and my room was small but clean and the water was hot. A nice tea/samosa/cookie, Sri Sabari Tea Stall, and snack store across the road and a good restaurant around the corner called Anjappar. The beach was also not too far away as well as public transport. I would definitely stay at Woodlands Inn again.

If you booking for one person you get single bedroom with single bed .if you need big bed booking 2 person. The manager very nice guy and helpful. The hotel is safe to staying. Very clean. Restaurants near by just google.

Had visited the place with my family. Hotel ambience is very good. Safe place to stay. Hotel is very neat and clean. Kids also loved this place. Service, staff and everthing is good. Even restaurant is nearby. Around this place everything is available. Transportation is very convenient.

A Pleasant and Hassle-Free Stay I recently spent over 10 nights at Woodlands Inn, Chennai, and had a smooth, comfortable stay throughout. Although the hotel was fully booked, the staff remained exceptionally courteous, prompt, and attentive to every need. Even the housekeeping and support staff were consistently helpful, respectful, and never once showed signs of complaint — a real credit to the hotel's service standards. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, clean, and fully functional — I faced no issues with amenities, bathrooms, or plug points. Special thanks to Mr. Shashikant and Mr. Mohammed, who provided seamless support from the time of booking to check-out. Their professionalism truly stood out. Overall, a well-run hotel offering great service. Highly recommended.
