"All good, and an amazing property just to walk around and appreciate the architecture and atmosphere. But, more importantly, this has the most amazing and comfortable beds in India! (even some five-star hotels like the Leela Palace in Chennai has rock hard mattresses, so I moved to ITC Chola). One tip you MUST request a quieter room, away from under the flight path (planes feel like they are just above the swimming pool), away from the outside metro and traffic and the gym which opens very early. Other than that it is paradise. Recommend the Club upgrade if it's not costing too much at time of booking, as the beautiful lounge with free bar for two hours (immediate service, they will even bring two drinks together, for one person, if you wish) also has a very good free buffet (chicken, prawns etc.) - was good enough for me as my evening meal. Also a very impressive breakfast in the re-modelled restaurant - very efficient and tasty. Love the pool and the spa, great hot-tub and sauna (free for all guests). Highly recommend, but light sleepers be warned: request a quieter room or it will not be pleasant."
