"This hotel was a great find! It is very affordably priced with a good location in Kunming. It is within walking distance of a metro station. The main negative feature was the surprisingly dirty carpets in the hallways for the rooms. The lobby area and most common area were all pristine. But, when we got off the elevator to go our room, which was also clean, I was a bit shocked to see carpeting that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, with dirt stains all over the carpet. "The Grand Park Kunming was an excellent choice for our visit. Everything was perfect. We arrived late at night after a long train ride and were greeted with a snack-bag, a bowl of fruit and flowers. The staff helped us with everything, from taxis, to umbrellas. The neighborhood was safe for strolling at night and we loved walking in nearby Green Lake Park. The fitness center is very well outfitted and it worth the visit just for the views of Kunming. Finally, the breakfast was incredible. ...
