"Very nice property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a specialty and wet cold washcloths when we arrived. The room was nice. Spa was amazing and totally worth the splurge. I would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had fabulous food and the breakfast buffet had about 150 different items."

But walk 250 metres and it’s terrific (with massages & lounges for hire). No other resort in the area can match its facilities & cleanliness."

"I was very happy with my stay at Montien House. The location was perfect. On the beach, very near to the town centre with many restaurants and shopping opportunities. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was within walking distance to pretty much anything we needed. It was surrounded by the loud and busy nightlife but once you were back on the resort property the noise quickly faded away which was so nice. The beach was great, we found the snorkeling to be really good with plenty of fish to see. We were a family of 6 and everyone liked the breakfast. I felt like there were plenty of options and it was nice not to have to walk around and find somewhere to eat every morning. The rooms were modern and clean. The only downside was they occasionally smelled like rotten eggs or some type of sewer smell. Difficult to describe and we weren’t sure what was causing it but it was outside around the area as well. It didn’t bother us enough to do anything about it. Overall the resort was clean, staff was friendly and location was great. I would highly recommend. "

"We loved our stay at Muang Samui. We have stayed there before, many years ago. It is in a perfect location at the quiet end of all the action. Walkable distance to all of Chaweng. The rooms are spacious, airconditioned and clean. The Buffet Breakfast was great, lovely and fresh, strong coffee, well staffed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. "
