"Room was clean. Staff was adequate. The price was perfect, until we found out that they charge for parking. Not only do they have absolutely NO parking, the only option is valet as you approach the front entry. I left my keys with the attendant who didn't share any costs with me. I checked in where the front desk associate DID NOT share any valet parking costs with me. The hotel took a $100 "security deposit" which I was told I'd get back assuming we didn't do anything that would count against it. It's not until our second day, when I was picking up our car form the valet attendants that I thought, "how is this parking being paid for if it does indeed cost anything". I went to the front desk only to find out they charge $52 per night to valet your vehicle!!!!! If your'e staying for 2 nights you'll actually end up owing about $3.50 extra after your $100 "security deposit" is eaten completely up[ for parking alone. EXTRAORDINARILY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!! These facts should be FONT AND CENTER when both reserving a room and when checking in. They should be completely transparent with costs, especially ones that will costs customers $52 per night!! It should actually start with the valet attendants. Assuming they are aware of the costs, they ABSOLUTELY should inform customers UP FRONT what their investment will be for the valet service!!! EXTREMELY disappointing."

"The Courtyard Marriott Dallas Downtown/Reunion District is in a great location. You can see Reunion Tower from the rooftop and even from some of the rooms, which was a nice bonus. The hotel itself was very clean, and Macrina at the lobby bar was especially friendly and welcoming. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and more. The Union Station Dallas is literally across the street, making it extremely convenient for getting around. My only complaint was housekeeping. During our stay, they did not make the bed—they only provided fresh towels, emptied the trash, and replenished the toilet paper. The bathroom was not cleaned at all; the countertops, floors, and shower were left untouched. I’m not sure if this is standard for a short (2-day) stay, but it was disappointing. Overall, the hotel is great, and I would still consider staying here again on my next trip to Dallas."

"Our stay really wasn’t that bad. The problem was, even though Hotels.com said there was 3 rooms available when we booked, when we got there, the hotel had already sold the rooms. So we had to wait over an hour for them to fix their mistake before we could check in. "
