"Excellent staff & clean rooms"

"The room did not have steady cooling or heating in the room the two nights and three days I was there. We froze at night and sweated in the day time. Brought up concerns and nothing was ever addressed. Staff was friendly but just not on ensuring all guest were happy in their rooms "

"This is such a great hotel for a variety of reasons. It’s a short walk to Universal Studios, clean, good bus service if you get tired of walking all day and the food is good. "

"Stayed for a few nights and would not stay again. Room was average or 'ok'. If I remember correctly the description indicate a restaurant, they do not have one. The only food available is a small cafe separate from the hotel open only for breakfast. Rooms do not even have a coffee maker, when requested they said they do not have any coffee makers in the hotel. I don't recall ever staying in a hotel that did not have any coffee. The gym was average, enough to get the job done. Hotel is not in a great neighborhood but probably safe enough. For the price I expected more and this was a very basic hotel. Overall I wouldn't stay again. "

"Clean. Very nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Big TV. Dennys right there. Was unaware they charged $12 for parking and a $95 refundable security deposit in addition to room cost Close to freeway."

"Such a cute property. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Couldn't get shower to not be freezing or scalding but not too big of a deal. Everything else was wonderful. "

"This French owned hotel, is clean with very business-like decor. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its location in Beverly Hills is good for access to Hollywood and the Rodeo Drive area though it is quite far from downtown LA. The swimming pool was closed for renovation when we were there. All in all, and of course depending on your plans, it is a good hotel to base your stay in LA."
