"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"J'ai séjourné dans ce gîte pendant 3 jours avec mes deux petites chiennes berger des shetland car je me rendais dans la région pour un stage de mantrailing. Tout était parfait : propreté impeccable, endroit très calme, gîte très cosy. Hôtesse très accueillante et très sympatique et qui plus est adore les animaux. Je recommande les yeux fermés! Je pense que c'est l'un des gites de la région que j'ai le plus apprécié. Encore merci!"

"The holiday home in Rouy is a solid choice for a quiet retreat, It’s well-furnished and comfortable, with enough space for our group, The location is nice, but I would recommend a car for getting around as many attractions are a bit far, Overall, a pleasant stay"

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Le gîte est très sympathique, spacieux et agréable avec des espaces couchages bien définis et suffisamment de sanitaires et salles de bains pour tout le monde.La région est très jolie et parfaite pour les amoureux de la nature. Nous regrettons simplement l'odeur parfois dérangeante qui remonte de la fosse sceptique, et l'espace extérieur un peu petit proportionnellement à la taille de la maison."

"La maison de rêve, idéalement située lorsqu'on aime la campagne et la nature, surtout au printemps quand toutes couleurs explosent et les oiseaux se font entendrent.vaches et cheveaux a 2 pas. Manque juste une pièce d'eau a l'étage des chambres pour plus de confort mais sinon topissime!"

"Nous sommes venus à Saint-Honoré-les-Bains pour fêter les 1 an de notre fils. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. La maison est tout à fait adaptée pour accueillir de grandes familles (nous étions 17, dont deux bébés). Les équipements sont parfaits, les différentes pièces de vie spacieuses et agréables (surtout le salon avec le babyfoot) et les chambres (toutes avec salle de bain) permettent aux invités d'avoir tous leurs espaces. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte en bordure du canal du nivernais. Le cadre est parfait, au milieu des bois, dans un jardin parfaitement entretenu. Le gîte en lui-même est très bien, petit mais en parfait état, propre et bien équipé. Il y a une grande terrasse avec salon de jardin, transat. "Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door locked and nobody there but a sign that says call these 2 numbers. First number, voicemail, so i try the second and the voice on the other side of the line instructs me to find the key to my room AND the key to the damn hotel entrance in a secret box. So i do, and I go in only to find the place so dark I have to turn on the flashlight on my phone. With luck I find the light switch to the hallway, but the light is so dim I have to keep the flashlight on. The interior is dilapidated and a reflection of an owner that has given up a very long time ago and now is milking the place for the last few pennies. Disappointing experience."
