Hotel Macchi is beautifully situated in Chatel with rooms facing the mountains and slopes. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were given recommendations on sites to see and visits to do in the area. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is friendly and welcoming, and the food is our of this world. I highly recommend staying here! We hope to be back soon

Family trip with two teenagers. We appreciated the space, comfort and layout of room 31. We each had our own quarters, our own balcony and amazing view of the valley. Magnificent. I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower area. What was also useful was having a sink in our room. The ski equipment room is spacious and very convenient. The staff all around were great, always greeting us warmly. We all enjoyed using the wet sauna, dry sauna, pool and hot tub. Acess to the mountains: La Macchi provides a lift service: walking distance to the gondola lift (Super Chatel); or there is the bus that can take you to La linga and or to Pierre Longue ( and from there you can make your way to Avoriaz) There is a great supermarket, Sherpa, just across the street. It was perfect. Very nicely stocked. Awesome store. Easy walk to restaurants in the area. Overall great experience. Very appreciative of the staff who tidied our room daily. They did an exceptional job. * A little quibble or feedback: I wish the hot tub was hotter. We enjoyed the massage chair. I wished there was a second chair and i was a tad disappointed that the leg feature of the massage was not working.

Hotel que je recommande

Fint hotell

Fint hotel, veldig sentralt. Greit å få avklart på forhånd ang.tidlig utsjekk. Vi ville forlate hotellet før kl.8, men måtte betale turistskatt. Det var ingen som kunne ta i mot betalingen, de som jobbet i resepsjonen var ikke der. Det ordnet seg, men tok litt tid å få det avklart. Ellers fint med basseng og matbutikk rett over veien.

Close to the resort centre and walking discrance to the ski lifts, the family run hotel has everything we needed and more. The bar areas and restaurant were excellent and the service was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in all respects.

Excellent sejour et qualite-prix

Excellent hotel gere par une meme famille depuis plusieurs generations. Accueil et service topissimes, et buffet de petit dejeuner paradisiaque. L’hotel dispose aussi d’un restaurant ou nous avons tres bien mange a un prix tout a fait raisonnable vu la categorie d’hotel. En conclusion: nous y retournerons sans hesiter l’ete prochain. En hiver, l’espace piscine-spa est certainement assez vite surpeuple, vu sa petite taille (piscine interieure).

Repos et bien être au rendez vous

Un super séjour dans cet hôtel de tradition. Personnel très attentionné, petit déjeuner super, spa et piscine très agréables. Les chambres sont très confortables,literie de bonne qualité. La location de skis sur place est vraiment un plus. Le seul bemol un wifi inaccessible
