"A strange but ultimately ok experience. This must be an old hotel someone bought and cleaned up, except ‘renovation’ would not apply as there’s a weird mix of older elements that make it feel like you are in a David Lynch film or similar. Bed was comfy and all very clean so as long as you don’t have expectations based on other more standard hotel experiences you’ll probably be fine. I suspect the clientele here is a bit unpredictable as we had to put down a hefty deposit on top of our fee, but maybe it will be fine, I hope so… Not sure if I would do it again…It’s probably ok if you just need a place to lay your head…"

"Stay here for my 41st birthday on the 15th floor with a corner city view. Let’s just say they didn’t disappoint me. Breakfast was included and the food is no ordinary hotel food. Someone put their whole heart into the meal servers was there to cater to your every need. This hotel will be my “go to” if I stay over in charlotte,nc again. Every staff member was beyond courteous and prompt with service. "

"Everything was great except parking. We chose to use valet and they lost our car. The Moxy front desk staff couldn’t help us as the valet was a third party. The valet the morning of check out was very helpful and did eventually find our car after searching all the lots. Then I was charged double the original fee. Again, Moxy staff couldn’t address the issue so I spoke to the local manager of the valet service who initiated a refund of $55 but said that they never lost my car, it was just under the incorrect phone number. Waiting two hours as the poor morning shift valet has to search every lot and take pictures of different license plates to locate your car indicates that the car has been temporarily misplaced. "
