Cozy Cabin

This was our 3rd year booking and while the property needs some maintenance, the view is beautiful and the cove is quiet. We will book again next year

Relax at the Lake

The view off the deck was perfect. Property was quiet but had lots of visitors - deer, rabbit, muskrat, hawk, bald eagle, blue heron and many other birds. Would love to go back.

Peace and Quiet

What a wonderful time my wife and I had with our Lab Maximus. Between relaxing on the porch to renting a Pontoon, we managed to just get away for a week of rest and recharge. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Maximus really enjoyed the Lake Life.

Beautiful spot on Lake Norman

We had a wonderful family weekend at Lake Norman. One person in our group needed a house with easy access and no steps/stairs between the driveway and the house. This home fit our accessibility needs perfectly, and the location was beautiful.

Last minute trip to visit friends

We booked the cottage for a last min. trip to visit friends. The booking was fast and easy. The cottage was in a great location, had fun outdoor toys and was very cozy. There was a hiccup with the place being ready when we arrived but the mgmt. co. called us immediately and sent several crews out within the hour to rectify the situation. We were able to bring our dog Boo and enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing weekend away. We will be back.

This property is absolutely in the perfect spot on the lake, has a dock and a boat ramp as well! It is shallow at the dock so be careful , shallow being 6’ , not a 5 star hotel and your not paying that, just a perfect getaway and not breaking the bank. Will do this again.

Peaceful escape

Put your clothes away, fill the fridge, pour yourself a glass of wine and kick back and relax. Very pleasant lakeside experience for me, my son and my dog. Enjoyed this very much.

Peaceful spot on the lake!

We really enjoyed our time at the Cozy Cottage on Lake Norman this week! It is a nice little house, very clean and everything you need while there is provided. If you need to run to the grocery store, it's only 10 minutes away. It was too cool this trip, but next time I hope to use the paddle boat and kayaks that are provided on site.

BEST LOCATION

If you are looking for a place that’s right on the lake, BEST VIEWS, and easy access to everything THIS IS THE PLACE! This place was so perfect for my family; especially with my mom not being able to walk very well and my brother being in a wheelchair. This place was right on the lake so getting by both my mom and brother to the water was so easy. Do not let the house fool you, yes it is on the older side but the location is where it’s at! The house has plenty of space and more than enough to enjoy your stay and it’s so homey and comfortable. This was an amazing trip and I know it wouldn’t have been so perfect without a great location and host!

Nice secluded vacation spot - great outdoor area

Overall it was a nice visit. Loved the property and outdoor areas. We are outdoor activities people and that was the main draw. Inside is very dated and the only reason for my rating on cleanliness was actually the bugs inside the home. A lot of drain flies in the kitchen/bath areas and you really couldn’t get rid of them - though there did seem to be some attempts made. Overall a nice stay and would probably stay here again if we go back to the general area.

Perfect location

This was a fantastic vacation home! It was very clean. The furniture was all comfortable, including the beds. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows provided. The kitchen was very well stocked! It had EVERYTHING needed to cook a meal. The location was perfect. It is on a private wooded lot. The drive into the cottage was beautiful! Lots of amazing homes to look at. The owner was responsive and very easy to deal with. WiFi worked perfectly. I have no negative comments about this stay, it was just perfect!

Permanent guest !!!!!!

This is our 5th or 6th time using the house. Like always our stay was over all outstanding. This house is in a perfect location, and it feels like being at your own house . Charles the owner has always been great to us , and well we just love the house. I've looked at other rentals on the lake and for the location this house and the house Charles owns next door is the best . It's easy to get to by water. We belong to a local boat club on the lake and we always bring a. Boat for all our stays . This time it appears he replaced the floating dock which is really nice. Again thanks you Charles for everything.

Perfect Location-Quiet and Convenient

We visited the Cozy Cottage on Lake Norman recently for business in the area. We loved the location on Lake Norman. The property was clean and well stocked and well suited for our needs. The beds were pretty comfy and the rooms were not too small. Nicely furnished. It has a spectacular view of Lake Norman and a great fire pit with a small sand beach area. It has a great dock and a small boat ramp for launching kayaks or canoes or small boats. We are bass anglers and have a 21 foot bass boat, we would not recommend trying to launch your bass boat here, mainly because of the distance to turn around in the driveway, but it's perfect for smaller boats or a short trailer. The location is about 10-15 minutes from shopping and restaurants in Mooresville. We thought it was perfect because it was very quiet and relaxing and away from traffic. We also had decent cellphone service here.Only negative we noticed was that not all of the burners on the gas grill worked. However, it was adequate, we were able to cook a nice steak! Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would come back here again.

Location is great. Wonderful views. Accommodations are well worn,underwhelming. Needs great deal of upgrades renovations. Owner should spend a little money to make your guests feel welcome. if you are going to spend time in this home, make sure you bring everything you need with you, cause this owner doesn’t go out of his way to make your stay comfortable. It’s like camping out with hot and cold running water available. Add should not say cozy cottage it should say “ dicey cottage”. Good luck.

Great Quiet Getaway
