"First the really good. Great location! Love the staff and the coffee area. Very clean and nicely kept. The room is nice with an average size bath area and larger shower which works really nicely. Real glass cups to use. The coffee and fruit on the level is nice. Nit picky maybe but here are the bads.. 1) They give you 2 drink coupons, but you have to walk 10 minutes to another hotel to use them. WHAT!? 2)They charge you and additional "hospitality fee" to get more money out of you for no reason. It is for "amenities" like the use of a workout room and wifi that others provide at no cost. 3) They charge you a fee for using a credit card to pay for your stay. REALLY? Who does not pay for hotels via credit card any more. 4) Overnight valet parking is $58. 5) They cut off the TV in your room right at 11:00 when you are supposed to check out. Not a big deal, but it seems like they try to nickel and dime and pick at you. If you do not care about money go ahead and stay there.."

"Heated pool was nice. Had to get replacement linen due to stains. Chair in room had dirt on it. Drinks were expensive. "

"This property is situated in an excellent location in the Mount Pleasant area. If you have a car, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, Shems creek are all within a 5-15 minute drive. There is a shuttle that will drop you off in downtown Charleston for a day in the city. The property was fairly clean overall, but certain things are very dated. It could use a “freshen “ up in some areas. The outdoor areas were really enjoyable! Nice clean pools and fireplaces right on the water. Due to the excellent location I would definitely stay again! But a little sprucing up would really take this hotel to the next level!"

"Our family stayed here to celebrate a 90th birthday and it was a perfect setting! Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to get to great restaurants and sight seeing. We were also able to enjoy sitting on the beach and swimming in the ocean which was all incredibly close to the house! Our house was very prompt in answering any questions and the house had more amenities than all the other houses I have rented over the years. "

"As good as a location as you can find on Sullivans! Steps from the public access path to the beach and walkable to the restaurants/bars on Middle Street. Would love to stay here again! "
