Waterfront Gem on James Island!

Summary:
Secluded space on the water on James Island. Newly constructed space with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  Upstairs unit with magnificent waterfront views.   Come enjoy the amazing sunrises and sunsets while looking over Clarks Sound towards Folly Beach.  Deep in the heart of James Island yet just a few minutes from James Island Youth Soccer Club and only 15min to both downtown and Folly Beach.

The Neighborhood:
Situated on 4 acres behind a new community.  Secluded and private.

Getting Around:
Parking available near the unit. The community in front of the property is a great place to walk

Interaction with Guests:
This unit is attached to a family home, but it has its own entrance and is a completely separate space. If you have a larger group that requires more room, there is another unit downstairs that can also be rented (subject to availability). We will be onsite and accessible if needed, however our guests' privacy is a priority for us.

The accommodations were great and the exterior was amazing with the view, dock and fire pit. Comfortable beds and very clean. Only challenge was not receiving check in instructions timely - had to reach out multiple times to get a code. After that our stay was great and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful waterfront property. Very clean with all amenities. Very friendly and responsive owners. If you’re looking for a quiet and quaint location close to everything Charleston offers I highly rec recommend this property. Fished the river marsh and caught speckled trout. Will definitely return to enjoy the fabulous property soon!

Great place! Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Just 15 minutes to downtown Charleston, but with parking! Also 15 minutes to Folly beach, but with serenity!

Fantastic waterfront stay

This condo was amazing! Great location, lots of grocery stores, restaurants and alot more within a few minutes drive. A short easy drive to Folly Beach. Easy drive to downtown. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed, plenty of room for 4 adults. The dock was awesome, lots of wildlife and even caught some crabs. You get a nice breeze off the water which makes the deck nice in the evenings. We had some questions at check in and Warren was quick to answer and help us out. We will definitely be back to stay.

Spring break for the aged

The place was the right size for two couples spending several days in Charleston. The view each morning was lovely and the place was relaxing to come back to each evening. Parking is very easy & the kitchen and laundry room had all we needed. Beds very comfortable and everything is very clean & new.

Wonderful Christmas!!

This place has the most amazing view, very clean, and has everything one needs to complete the stay! It was even decorated for Christmas w/ a tree!! The beds were very comfortable as was the entire unit! We will be back!!!

Simply Amazing!

Where do I start. This place was amazing. The location was great, probably 10 minutes to Charleston or to Folly Beach. It was FULLY stocked with all of the essentials. I honestly have never stayed anywhere that gives you more than starter supplies. They had plenty of everything, k-cups, makeup wipes, toothpaste, even toothbrushes if you needed them. The views from the back porch are great. We were able to see some dolphins (maybe porpoises) jumping in the water. While in Charleston we visited the Yorktown and Fort Sumter. Both were definitely worth visiting. On James Island we had breakfast at Smoky Yolk two mornings and it was great. They even had a full bar so you could order mimosas with your breakfast. If we ever have the chance to go back, we will definitely rent this property again.

Amazing!!

Beautiful views

Great time with the family. The views are amazing. The kids had a great time on the dock. We were able to watch dolphins and pelicans catching fish. A visiting duck on our first night was so fun to interact with.

An actual gem!

We cannot say enough great things about this amazing place!! It was a private little oasis and even better in person than the listing shows. Super clean, incredible location, and well stocked with everything you may need during your stay. We loved sitting out on the various swings throughout the property, watching the gorgeous sunrise from the dock, and having a welcoming “home” to come back to after a long day. The owner/manager was wonderful to communicate with and clearly paid attention to cover all the details. Whenever we’re back in Charleston, we will definitely be booking again!! Highly, highly recommend :)

Unbelievable view

We couldn’t have chosen a better spot! We came for a concert and to be close to Folly beach. It was the perfect location and very private! Our favorite part was the view and tables under the string lights at night playing games. Thank you for hosting us!

Great hidden Gem

Such a beautiful quiet place that sits on right on the water. So peaceful looking out the balcony and just looking out over the water. We got the chance to watch dolphins play. It was a great location between all the places we visited. There were plenty of bathroom supplies just in case you forget something. The rooms were spacious. There is a full fridge and freezer so plenty of room for making meals and also has all your cooking utensils. I love that the kitchen area and the rest of the place is all open floor. And love that there was a tub for our little ones! They enjoyed that. Also sitting on the deck or walking around out back it was beautiful. We wanted to have a fire but we went down when the weather was pushing close to 100. So it was already a little warmer. But the lights hanging from the tree made it so much prettier at night! Such a great little gem and we will be back for sure!

5 STARS!!!!

This unit is amazing. The property is amazing. The view is amazing. The unit is the best stocked Vacation rental i have ever stayed in. They even leave the extra items in the storage closet in case you run out. No expense is spared. When we met with the owner she explained that she "wanted the unit to match the view", and the view is amazing. They did a great job with the unit and i would reccomend this to anyone going to Charleston.

Truly a gem!

We had a great time staying in this excellently equipped apartment! Kids could play soccer on the vast premises and the host even provided kayaks for exploring Clark Sound. We felt very welcome will definitely choose this accomodation when in Charleston again!

Exceeds expectations

First let me say that the cleaning team is one of the best I have ever seen. The extra touches are welcoming. As far as the stay, it was tremendous. Warren is kind, understanding and cares about the experience. I highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants the proximity to everything but the seclusion of a private vacation home

Peaceful and quiet gem

We absolutely loved our stay! The setting was beautiful and serene. Every detail was thought of in the unit; there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided. We saw pelicans, herons, dolphins, squirrels, a super friendly cat and a majestic eagle during our stay. The pier was the perfect spot for relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Great stay with great views

This place was clean & comfortable! It was just a short 10-15 minute drive into downtown Charleston. Beautiful outdoor space with abundant bature. We saw dolphins playing and beautiful birds (and it rained most of the weekend)! Would definitely stay again just to witness the sunrise and subsets here.

Awesome Stay

We are frequent users of VRBO’s and our stay at Warrens James Island residence was the best. All aspects of our trip from booking to checkout were perfect. Warren is a fantastic host who was concerned for the comfort of his quest. He supplied a wide array of essential goods that I have not seen at any other rental and his property was spotless. It accommodated our group nicely and the property was very orderly and clean. The outside porch area was our favorite spot to view the sunrise and dolphins while drinking our morning coffee. Absolutely fantastic location and Host. We will definitely visit again!!
