Welcome to Marshwinds 2U! This cozy, marsh view, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is the perfect getaway for up to 6 guests. Relax at the community pool or easily head to the downtown Folly Beach area for dining, entertainment, and the beach! The open floor plan and full-length, screened-in porch allows for everyone to gather together for meals and easy conversation.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your family meals. All appliances are updated, complete with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Serve family style at the 6-person dining table or set up a buffet on the bar area. Relax on the plush leather couch in the living area, put your feet up, and watch a movie or your favorite show on the flat screen TV.
Take in the Low Country breezes off the river and the marsh on the fully screened in porch. Ample chair and table space are provided to have coffee or enjoy a cocktail, play cards, or just sit back and watch the wildlife. Also the perfect place to see the famous Folly sunsets lower in the evening. Screen porch is accessible via the living room and the master bedroom. Wake up refreshed in the king bed each morning to marsh and river views out the large windows in the master bedroom. Then, step out onto the porch from your own access door. Soak in the garden tub in your en suite, full bathroom, also with double vanity, and large walk-in shower.
The two guest bedrooms are down the hall, each with an attached bathroom so everyone has their own space. Bedroom 2 has one king bed, a flat-screen TV, and full bathroom attached includes a tub/shower combination. Bedroom 3 has one queen. The attached, full bathroom has a walk-in shower, and is also accessible from the hallway. All fresh linens and towels are provided for 6 people in the condo. Your beds will be made with clean linens upon arrival, so you can just crawl into bed after a long day of traveling. If you need to do laundry during your stay, there is a full-size washing machine and dryer found in the hallway closet.
Check out the community pool to swim and catch some sun! The beach and downtown Folly Beach areas are only a few minute drive away, or you can take a stroll or bike ride just across the walking bridge to everything. The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach has beach shops, markets (select days of week), live music, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to burgers and pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. Folly Beach County Park on the West End of the island has restrooms and large beach area to spread out, which is a great location to enjoy your beach day! Visit the Morris Island Lighthouse beach on the far East End of the island that is absolutely photo-worthy.
Downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive away. Charleston offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment.
Parking is free for guests staying in the Marshwinds complex. Parking passes will be provided as needed. Elevator and staircases allow for easy access up to the condo. This Unit is not ADA compliant. The HOA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the elevators. Carts are provided by the complex management company to easily take your belongings up to your condo. Full list of condo rules & policies is provided upon check-in.
Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, free parking, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Home is non-smoking and non pet-friendly. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. Community Pool due to opens around beginning of April and closes in October, HOA determines exact dates. **HOUSE SUPPLIES** This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay. Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

Most important to me was it was clean. Great location, so close to everything. Had everything we needed for a short getaway. Great views of the river in the back patio. Every time we left we got a great view of the marsh. I enjoy my mornings on the back screened in patio. Was a last minute booking that worked out very well. Thank you.
Condo was in a good location and we appreciated the covered parking area. The inside of the condo was dated and needed additional cleaning. The bed sheets and towels had hair on them. Condo has lots of space and loved having 3 bathrooms. Kitchen supplies were heavily used and some were not clean. Den could use better seating. Overall it was good for what we needed.
Three bedrooms—two of them with an en suite-was perfect for our family to stay while moving my daughter to CofC. The unit is definitely in need of some repairs/updates like bathroom doors not latching, missing tub plugs and hair filled drains (discovered because of the missing tub plugs) but these units receive a lot of wear and tear and I get that. These are not reasons to not book this listing. It’s just not brand new and the cleaning fee is high.
The location was great, close enough to visit the beach and just 20 minutes to her apartment in the heart of Charleston. Having the pool was great to sneak in a little pool time—the pool code was changed and we weren’t made aware so sadly we missed out on swimming one night.
This condo was perfect! Great location! Easy drive to Charleston and to Folly Beach. Close enough to walk to Folly Beach. Quiet and peaceful! Clean! Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped. Rooms very spacious. Large bathrooms. Awesome screened balcony with beautiful marsh views. Carts were available near elevator to transport luggage, groceries, etc. to condo. Pool was well maintained. Covered parking space. Property manager was wonderful. Would definitely rent again.
Great home base for a relaxed family vacation with young adults
This turned out to be a perfect home base for a vacation with our 3 grown (early 20's) children. It can be hard at this stage of life to plan a trip with activities that ALL of us will enjoy, and to fit it into everyone's schedules. Some of us love the beach, some don't. Some like history and museums, some don't. Some are athletic, some aren't. Some can get a whole week off from work, some can't. This condo was within a reasonable walking distance from downtown Folly Beach (restaurants, bars, shops, kayak/bike rentals, and the beach itself), and also an easy 20-minute drive from Charleston (the city proper, and the airport). This allowed us to have kids come and go at different times (one son drove from Clemson, the other drove with us from NY, and our daughter flew into Charleston a couple days later) without feeling like precious vacation time was "wasted" with the comings and goings. It was super easy for us to split up if we wanted, do different things during the day and then come back together in the evening for dinner, cocktails, games, or just chatting about the day's adventures.
The condo itself was clean, comfortable and inviting, with a nice view from the screened in balcony. There was plenty of room to hang out together without feeling like we were on top of each other. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast every morning and a couple of simple dinners (though we did enjoy dining out a few nights.) The pool was nice, well-maintained and the water was at a good temperature - we used it daily. Parking was convenient - 2 reserved covered spaces for the unit, and a lot that was never too crowded during the day. Harris Teeter supermarket was only 2 miles down the road and had everything we needed in terms of groceries and supplies.
All in all, this rental was exactly right for our purposes. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area.
This was a very nice condo. We enjoyed the views from inside and out. Having a bathroom for each bedroom made it especially comfortable. Best vacation in a very long time!
Condon was very nice! Trash cans were a mess and pool was cloudy - only negatives I can mention about property. Trying to park and get to beach was almost impossible Fri/ Sat... With the new parking rules this will make me head to different beach until things get back to normal.
