Summary:
The Inn at 257 is located in the beautiful Elliotborough neighborhood. You will be FOUR short blocks from King Street. We recommend you leave your car parked in our lot and enjoy the city on foot, bicycle, or the ever convenient Uber and Lyft.

***Come enjoy our NEW shared heated saltwater plunge pool!

The Space:
You will receive your unique 4 digit door code on the morning of your arrival.

Guest Access:
Your apartment will have its own private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
Cannonborough Elliotborough is a quiet and safe neighborhood with great choices for tasty food!

Other Things to Note:
Please review the house manual located in the apartment. The house manual contains helpful information for your stay. Aside from logging out of your tv apps, you do not need to do anything prior to checking out. Our cleaners will take care of everything.

Interaction with Guests:
While we respect your privacy, I will be onsite and available if anything is needed during your stay.

Prettiest house on the block! My husband, 11-year-old daughter and I stayed here for five nights in May 2025 and it was delightful! Good food and coffee within walking distance (try The Little Line for breakfast). This beautiful home was built in 1890 and the apartment had plenty of space for us, and had everything we needed. I spent hours on that big front porch in a rocking chair. My daughter loved the pool! It’s about a 25 minute walk to King Street, which was a tiny bit too far for us to walk each day; however, we were about 5 minutes from downtown by car and only about 20 minutes from the beach! We did a lot of walking around the neighborhood. Nova and Courtney were a delight as our hosts! The apartment was beautifully decorated and included a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and hair dryer! So convenient! Loved Charleston!

Anniversary

The house/apartment was lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the front porch in the mornings in particular. We met the owners who were very accommodating and several of the other guests. The location was very convenient- we were able to walk to the historic areas and waterfront and additional attractions were close by car. Our apartment had been recently very tastefully remodeled. The shower/bathroom could use some additional hooks/bars for towels and clothing and some extra space for toiletries but, other than that, everything was great. Would definitely recommend.
