We loved our 3 night stay at Psamathi L&T as it was a great atmosphere close to the airport in Chania, Crete. The rooms, on site restaurant and surrounding location were all amazing and really helped us to kick off our trip in Greece and get a taste of the local culture.

Koselig, lite sted med hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjenening. Vi hadde suite med utsikt over sjøen, det anbefales! Veldig hyggelig uteområde med flere små sitteplasser på ulike nivåer. I tillegg strandstoler i fleng til oss som bodde på hotellet, og som andre kunne bruke om de kjøper noe å spise eller drikke (slik jeg forstod det). Litt mer folk i helgen enn de andre ukedagene, men nok plass likevel. De hadde også en ansatt som hadde jobbet flere år i Norge og snakket plettfritt norsk - det blir man jo som nordmann litt glad for 😄 Nedenfor hotellet er det mest rullesteiner, så man må enten gå ut fra en liten betongpir med trapp og rekkverk for å komme ut i vannet eller gå ca 50 -70 meter til venstre for å komme bort på en større strand med bare sand. Begge deler fungerte helt fint for oss som var der uten barn. Litt skummelt å gå ned fra den betongpiren når det var mye bølger fordi steinene under vann er litt sleipe, men det gikk også. Frokosten var nydelig - mange små retter på et stort brett for å dele. Forskjellig hver dag, men bygget opp på samme måte. Jeg bestilte Mountain tea å drikke til, det var veldig godt. Ellers god mat til lunsj/middag, spiste kretisk salat og papardelle med sjømat. Kjempegodt! De hadde også en veldig god hjemmelaget limonade (mye bedre enn den de har på flaske)! Nydelig sted, ca 30-35 min med taxi fra gamlebyen i Chania. Der var vi bare en gang fordi det var best ved hotellet og vi også hadde noe annet opplegg noen andre dager.

En lugn pärla vid havet

Underbart ställe inte långt från flygplatsen, men trots detta väldigt tyst. Trots att vi inte kom förrän närmare elva på kvällen ställde de upp och fixade mat till oss i den mysiga restaurangen. Rummet var jättefint, trevlig dusch och bra utrymmen. Tyvärr fick vi inte ACn att fungera, men det fanns även en takfläkt så det gjorde inte så mycket. Till frukost fick man välja en av fem menyer, vi tog en "healthy" och en kretinsk, båda mycket goda. Vi stannade inte här längre än till frukost, men solsängarna såg fina ut och havet var precis nedanför, så är säker på att vi hade trivts här. Faktiskt gillade vi detta stället så mycket att vi kom tillbaka hit och åt middag innan vi flög hem. Det var lika gott då!
