「Bed was a full not a queen.
Room stank of marijuana.
Bed was an extremely worn out box spring that collapsed towards the middle. There were two twin beds in the closets we used instead but there was no spare bedding or linens in the place.
The only soap in the place was a hand soap. Nothing for showers. Only two towels. If you wanted to wash your hair or something you were out of luck.
The only dresser or place to put things was broken with a sign saying not to touch it.
We almost left...

「Wonderful stay! Location was so close to all the action, we walked everywhere. Street parking for the unit but even with a super busy holiday weekend we had NO trouble getting a spot right by the place.It was very clean and newly renovated. 「I canceled my booking with in 1 hour of making the booking. it was not the location I wanted. it showed refundable but when I tried to get my money back I spent days and hours on the phone with Expedia and the host. the charge was definitely from the host but they refused to admit they charged me. I waited for 7 business days and then Expedia gave me the go ahead to dispute the charge. I will never book with them again and their customer service is terrible.」

「I cannot say enough good things about the location of this cottage. St. Charles became one of my favorite places this weekend. The street this is on could only be improved if it were on the ocean.
