"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. "Very convenient for the train station and central Lausanne, this hotel provided a large, comfortable, clean room with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was very good and plentyful. There was a coffee machine in the room. Some might find the decor and bathroom a little dated but we loved the grace and elegance of the room, which had a desk, 2 chairs and a sofa, as well as a fridge. The staff were polite and helpful allowing us to store baggage and check in early. "
