"This bijou, ground-floor apartment is in a very good location for exploring the charming old city of Troyes. The facilities are adequate, although somewhat cramped. The double bed can only be got into from one side, and the foam pillows are disappointing. The lounge window is directly next to the pavement outside, so privacy is limited. "This hotel is ideally situated for a stop over in Troyes- just a short walk into the mediaeval centre and its wealth of restaurants, yet quite easy to access from the motorway and the parking though in a public avenue is right in front of the hotel well lit and feels secure- it is also free between 7pm and 9am-we arrived a little before that but the charge was only 1 euro 50. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the welcome and information at reception was very good. (We have a decent level of french so was conducted in french). Breakfast was good with hot options. Most guests were older couples like ourselves. There is a little road noise, but it’s not intrusive. The heating controls in the room were easy to use. We have regular stop overs in Troyes and have stayed in other B&B hotels as they are generally reliable- we will definitely be back to stay in this one."
