Lovely comfortable room

The rooms are comfortable though not overly big. The bathroom is very small. It was a tight squeeze into the shower. The balcony was lovely as it gave us more space and fresh air. We loved the pool however the beach was much warmer to swim in.

So when we booked this property, we thought we had booked for 2 people staying but it was for one so we had to pay extra 80 euros. To cover the additional person's stay and breakfast. Hotel is too pricey for the area and location. Hotel is linked to one taxi driver who is extremely rude and over charges you each time he picked us we were stuck with him. You have no choice but to use the rude taxi driver with mood swing. Oh their bed is extremely uncomfortable. Gave us body pain we couldn't wait to get back to our own bed at home. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast options is pretty limited and quite bland. The lift seems ancient (never seen such before) you push the door to open and close it and as the lift go up, you'd literally see the walls in between each floors. The tarvarn outside have lovely and friendly staff but their food is bland. The squid was salty and the chips horrible. The ladies at the reception desk are lovely and friendly, they tried their best to help. The hotel has some nice views around for pictures. There is nothing much happening around the hotel area, it's pretty much dead. There is no boat ride activities for tourists, I won't recommend this hotel and Chalkida it is not a place for tourists, a random place to go on holiday. The hotel is also some hour and half away from the airport so quite some distance. No spa, massage etc. The a/c in reception area is permanently off and you’ll find cats and dogs roaming freely around the hotel and restaurant.

What a great place to stay!

I visited for five days with family and it was an amazing experience. The hotel staff were very helpful and efficient, the facilities were excellent and the whole complex was spotless. We spent hours sitting by the pools or dipping into the sea which was just 20m away! The whole area is very green and peaceful with a good selection of restaurants around. Even better, we booked to have breakfast and one meal a day at the hotel and were amazed to find out that those were served at a great seafood taverna by the hotel! Both Chalkida and the gorgeous beach of Alikes are about 15 mins away by car. Very highly recommended for a relaxing holiday with family and friends.

Hotel is more of a resort and a little ways from Chalkida but an easy 10-15 minute drive. Very nice room, well kept hotel grounds and breakfast. Parking very convenient. Parking along water in Chalkida is free but may be challenging since very popular walking and scenic area.

Hidden gem in Chalcis

This is a great facility tucked a little away from the main tourist section of Chalcis. It's a 7-8 Euro cab ride from the center but if you're looking for some rest, you may not need to go to the center if you are here. The pool facilities are excellent and for variety, you can cross the street to the little bay that also has a beach. The pool area is well served with refreshments and snacks from a really nice waitstaff. The room i had was excellent and overlooked the bay and surrounding countryside. The room was clean and well serviced by the maid staff. The front desk staff are very nice and super helpful with all things related to the area. They even helped me navigate a trip further into the Evia island by bus. The breakfast buffet is basic but enough to fill most appetites and the bayside restaurant serves excellent greek classics and seafood. Overall, I highly recommend this resort hotel. Great staff, kid friendly, nice rooms and excellent value for money.
